Looking at the final National League table the four relegated teams are Wealdstone,Maidenhead,Fylde and Ebbsfleet. From my understanding two of these relegated teams will play next season in National League North and two in national League South. Fylde are based in Lancashire so that's easy. However Wealdstone is in the London Borough of Harrow, Maidenhead and Ebbsfleet are in the county of Kent. So-unless I am missing the point- how can any of those 3 teams play in National League North come August? I realise Oxford City were dumped into NL North but could a team from a London borough be playing in that league next season? Any ideas? Thanks.

Needham Market in Suffolk played in that division last season, which meant away games at Darlington,Spennymoor and Hereford. The alternative would’ve been the south division with trips to Truro and Weymouth. There isn’t an easy answer to it unfortunately.
Similarly Bishops Stortford (Herfordshire) played in the National North a few seasons back. Rumour has it they almost went bust because of travel costs.

Didn’t they have to go to Blyth four times or something?

Congratulations to Wealdstone on avoiding relegation today after beating Halifax 3-1 & sending Dagenham down.
Absolutely. A great result for the Stones. They looked in real trouble after the draw at home to Maidenhead a week or two ago, and then getting turned over at Southend, but they showed real character today.

Watched the second half of the Wealdstone game and then the final few minutes of D&R at Solihull. They missed 3 really good chances in injury time to pinch the win. Total lack of composure in front of goal.

Poor Ebbsfleet relegated. Not only did they sign Todd Kane in September, they then terminated his contract in March by mutual consent......silver linings and all that.

As I go to Ebbsfleet now as it's about a mile away from where I live, I must say I've never ever seen such a collective bunch of misfits, players and management alike. Yes Kane came in after a good season at Stockport, was just as bad as the rest of them. Next season will be tough, it's not easy to get out of that League. At least Rangers managed to escape.

See you down at Arbour Park next season for the Slough Town game. Ebbsfleet walked the League last season, surprised they didn't compete in the National League. Just shows the gulf. Probably similar to that between the Championship and Premiership. Torquay had nearly 6000 in for their play off against Borehamwood but lost. NLS will be a tough division next season

Meanwhile, in the Combined Counties, DOUBLE U.. e m b...
Going down again, I'm sad to say. Didn't know we'd played there in '64.
I trained with Wembley pre-season around 82-84 ish, didn’t really like it plus wasn’t really good enough! Our home ground was also Vale Farm next door!
