In amongst the doom & gloom a hopeful bright bit of positivity...
Me & my wife welcomed our first on Sunday evening. She's arrived 2 weeks early and in fact caused me to miss Saturday's game as I got to London, got a phone call a couple of hours before kick off that waters had broken and therefore could I please come home ASAP.
We're still in hospital currently as it ended up being a long and challenging labour and whilst mum & baby are well they've both needed some extra recovery time and help t kickstart some things.
The NHS staff at Leicester Royal Infirmary have been amazing with us and I've also been able to spend every minute here too instead of getting kicked out every night.
As holiday camps go it's not much cop but hopefully we'll be going home tomorrow.
Knowing we had a girl coming I've been seeing Dad's and Daughters at home games in recent months hoping in the years to come that will be us. She's got two sporty parents so hopefully she'll have interest, and if she shows interest in football she'll be whisked off to the R's and hopefully become a third generation Superhoop! |  | | |  |
