He played almost the entire 2nd half of last season as RB for Orient. Not where he wants to play though. He is a midfielder.

Very useful cover to have though. Means we don't really need to sign another right back, especially with our options in midfield should Galbraith have to cover RB for some games. We're very short at LB though unless we have a strong youngster who can act as backup

Are there any clubs other than those with parachute money that can afford the sort of wages players like them are asking for? Even with parachute money it's a gamble, not only on the player but the impact on the rest of the squad.

I'm guessing some clubs are holding back in the hope that if there are no early takers that they will drop their wage demands at a later date. Others will accept that there may be a stampede later in the window and look to sort out their squads now. Which one are we?

Let's be honest O'brien doesn't need to go anywhere, he can sit where he is and pick up £45K a week this season and get a signing on fee next season. It's Forest who want to offload him.
