I suspect we'll know by the end of October how hard he's worked over the Summer Period to shape his game and fit the mould Sheehan wants. He's injury free and will have had a full pre-season. After an underwhelming 24/25 he needs to hit the ground running this term or those who still have blind faith will soon lose it. |
I don’t think any of us have blind faith - he’s a full international. Any player can look bad playing under the likes of Williams and in front of reverse gear Grimes. He’s shown his finishing ability and his class and if anyone can get the best out of him it’s Sheehan. . I’m not going to say anymore apart from I truly hope he smashes the league this coming season and makes a few “supporters“ eat a large portion of humble pie. | | | |

As Fireboy says, we’ll all be happy if Vipotnik comes back a different player.
If someone could tell me something to his game I had missed, I’d listen. Blaming Williams and Grimes, who weren’t there for a quarter of the season and didn’t seem to stop Cullen contributing far more, is a bit disingenuous.
Sheehan was there all season.
Bring a supporter doesn’t mean making excuses for a near full season of sub par games. It means wanting what’s realistically best for your club. The Vipotnik of last season is not it. If he comes back a much better player, fantastic.

Even forgetting yesterdays game we all could see there is need for more depth, and now with the Obrian move to Wrexham almost done we must move on to other guys, as has been said else where the early signings boded well but wether we are waiting for players to be moved out (yates for one) or loans again for some of the youngsters if we are , as people are hoping to be there or there abouts at the end of the season this squad , with all due respect , will not be good enough as we need depth and quality, with the youngsters we have the depth but at this time not the quality nor experiance in this div
the above of course is just my opinion and yes early days but the championship is a long hard grind, with 2 open games and 2 behind closed door games before the game vs boro things may change on the plaing front in fact it has to, and i hope it will, we have the people doing a fine job re transfers and yes we have to stay within the rules but i think all can agree we are nowhere near the finished product yet | | | |

Ignoring the fact that we didn't look like a team who was really pressing to get the win, I really like our starting line up. If you add Cabango into the mix and maybe Eom. Our starting line up looks promising.
The only issue I have is the striker options and depth on bench. With Yates, Bianchini, Ginnerly pretty much out of the picture and let's face it the youth players did themselves no favours we are really lacking. Also I would encourage replacing butter fingers Fisher but at this point we need to strengthen in other areas. | | | |

I agree. Our starting line up looks good and if you add Cabango and Eom coming back. But the potential bench looks weak, Fulton, Fisher, Lissah, Cullen, Cooper. Wales.
I haven't added youth players as I am being over harsh as non of them impressed me excluding Sam Parker.
