They do like signing older players, i wonder how they will last in the intensity of the Championship. O'brien is younger and a good buy, the others I'm not so sure.

I know he’s got his limitations, but how much could we do with a physical striker who can bully defenders, hold the ball up and bring others into play.

Hopefully we get someone with those qualities

Money talks. Wrexham could afford to sign him. We could not. Same with Darling and Norwich. It's a shame because O'brien was outstanding for us. However, I would never want the club to be at risk financially.

I've not the word jealous
Think we are being rather oversensitive here
We are behind them when it comes for signing players when it's down to wages
This is Wrexham we are talking about, hitherto , a nonentity
They have changed significantly and we should not underestimate them
They are the team I want to stuff and I pray we do just that

Thus far , the exciting players are not standing out

The season is just around the corner

I do hope this season is not going to be one where fans turn nasty on each other
We all love this bloody club

That's the thing, they are not a non entity anymore.

However people get bored of Disney unless the story gets better. They are not going to walk through this league. O Brien is their marquee signing but he couldn't it in the Premier league. He was basically dropped after Forest's first month in the top division. He will make a difference to the midfield at Wrexham but he is not the best midfielder in the division so what happens next for them.
A lot of people will be circling on football league clubs to see if they can get on the bandwagon and there goes Wrexham's unique pull. The story was fun on Disney but all the mining stories they regurgitate are far less significant than stories in South Wales for example.

Wrexham have two key ingredients at the moment - ambition and momentum.
Something we have been lacking over the 8-9 years.

Maybe we will get both but it will take time - maybe a couple of years - it won't happen overnight and probably not this season.
