MC has been on GL for nearly 6 weeks now - and not a whisper from the club, not even to clarify what they propose to do with him (or he with them)! It's pathetic and unacceptable. The club also, obviously, needs to be planning its pre-season and recruitment. We're supposed to be operating a professional entity, with buy-in from the fans. Pah!
Sacked by Rennes after losing 5 of the first 10 games…should fit in well!! Hopefully when he eventually starts he has a better start…but we seem to start very poorly every season..
Just waiting with badger baiting breath for that first Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday week….and all the strikers and/or central defenders being unavailable again.
Zut-a-‘kin-lor and the Madonna with the massive frame.
Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Hardly an EXCLUSIVE when it's been trailed by various outlets and he's cribbing a report from Le Parisien.

Cifuentes earnt his stripes the season before and likewise showed promise again last season.
Hence how he survived the poor start to the season.
But then we reverted to type. Promising manager at this level, we decided to humiliate and at the same time shoot ourselves in the foot.
Please explain in words of one syllable how on earth is that joined up thinking in anyways.
Suggest you on here just to plays devil's advocate as there are no genuine reasons that you keep a reasonably successful manager for our football club on the naughty step for so long that it not only disadvantages him in the long run but also ourselves.
If I was working for a business that operated in this way, I would be looking for a new workplace with a lot more stability and rationality of decision making.
Excuse me if I say that decisions currently being made are that 2 plus 2 equals 2.01.
Ridiculously poor IMHO.

If you want a stable workplace, you'd be deranged to look for it in pro football management, forget about QPR.

I know, it's a joke innit? If it turns out to be Tony Pulis I've got 4,000 words and an hour of podcast to go in the shredder, but Sky reckon it's "exclusive".
Get on with it QPR, everybody knows.

What odds is Pulis.
Might put some money on a cheeky super saver !!!!!!
I reckon Mr Stephan will be announced day before fixtures are released.
I know next to nothing about employment law, but, if the club was having difficulty breaking its contract with Cifuentes, it surely could not talk openly about the person that was going to succeed him - even if rumours about the successor were rife. Putting aside the possibility that they messed up the relationship with Cifuentes and how cross that might make the fans, we have no option but to be patient. If anyone needs help with that, then the new contracts for Sam Field and Jimmy Dunne are a good signal, are they not?

For QPR, losing 5 of the first 10 games is a new manager bounce. Isn't it?

The club isn't going to break its contract with Cifuentes because that would result in legal action. There will be an early termination agreement of some sort and he'll be paid off. Who knows why his successor isn't being announced but it won't be because they can't - no club would sign a manager agreement that restricted it from appointing a successor given how common is that scenario.

It's QPR Kensal. Of course we'd not have anticipated this common scenario or thought it through.

Maybe they're just waiting for the start of July to make it all official.
Then they can dump the cost of binning Marti into next season's accounts.

Any thoughts on how long Marti will be sitting at home before he is offered another job in England or Europe or has he achieved enough at QPR to be hired right away or passed over . This will tell a lot about how things ended here IMO .Either he was to agressive or too passive and did he really break any contract rules contacting WBA .

I have a feeling that whatever resulted in Cifuentes to be placed on gardening leave as with everything with this club recently, it's likely to be shrouded in a total cloak of invisibility.

He can't have done because if he had the club would have taken the opportunity to fire him for cause.

Marti seems the studious type and I'm sure he had spent his time constructively.
He has probably been getting his landscape gardening and crop rotation badges and once he is free he will return to his homeland to get cashed up on EU subsidies and devote his remaining years to growing olives and cornering the market in all this oil that Nourry will be cooking with.
Don't even think about asking for mates rates!
That's a long winded way of saying I am definitely not ITK and have no idea what Marti's plans are.
It would be funny if he went full Maximus Decimus and came back looking to take his vengeance on our wannabe Emperor

If Gardening Leave equated to a managerial spell, then Mr GL has surpassed Paul Hart (29days) and Mick Harford (43days) can’t be too far off a Neil Critchley (69 days 🤣) period in charge.
Gardening Leave currently at 54 days
Monsieur Stephan has to be announced in the next 2 weeks surely…
