Just announced on the Whatsapp. Personally I don't care if this was done ages ago and Nourry is gaming it for maximum PR value - I'm just delighted he's staying

Yeh that’s great news. As I’ve said for months players like that, but more importantly personalities and experience like that, v difficult to replace on our budget so a big one in the plus column this summer.

AND Nourry actually speaks in plain English about him in the press release. Nothing about his ability to transgress from the #6 to the #2 around the essential ball release zones in Level 2.

For him to sign you would think he would want some assurances about the next manager. I have wondered as the media was saying a week or so ago that the manger deal was done, maybe it is and all agreed but can't officially be announced until the Marti situation is sorted out

Yeah you might have a point with that. With the news Stephan was in London the other day it could be all but done internally. Hopefully that would mean we can get a bit more movement with contracts and incomings

With a new manager coming along sometime the more experience we have already in place should will be cruical to us settling down quickly. With Jimmy, SC and JCS (hope that man can stay fit) we are starting to look a bit better alraady now we just need goals and lots of them to make our run. I thought with Marti put out to pasture our veterans would bolt but happily they are staying
