First fixture of the season 10:11 - Jun 25 with 11607 views

With the fixtures released tomorrow, it's time for the annual guessing game of who will we be playing on the opening weekend.

It looks to me that we will be playing home games when The Pensioners are also at home, with Brentford & Fulham away on those weekends. If this is correct, we will be away for the first match & on Boxing Day.

I have a feeling that we will perform in the first match of The Championship, away to Ipswich on Friday 8th August.

I have a hunch, for no reason at all, that we'll have Ipswich on the Friday night. However, our first game be at home as we'll be away the next weekend, when the Premier League starts and Chelsea will be at home.

I'd like to avoid Wrexham in the first match as the w*nkfest about them will be unbearable. And we'll lose to them.

For the little it’s worth, 2 of the SW London/Middlesex Prem clubs are away on August 17th so I’m guessing we’re away the week before to be playing at home that weekend.

The answer isn't twice - Home & Away.

I'd hope we are overlooked as much as possible but then again if we are a popular pick then means we're doing well.

It's going to be unbearable again this season with endless zoom in's of the Wrexham Directors Box and that shouty fella giving it "THIS CLUB HAS DREAMS AS HIGH AS THE HOLLYWOOD HILLS. THEY. ARE. UP. FOR. AN. OSCAR!!!"
