JS misunderstood AS‘s joke and got a bit snappy there.

Ha ha . He did didn’t he .

Just a misunderstanding .

Agree with others though , he is coming across really well in slightly challenging circumstances.

I know I made a crack about William's appearance a minute ago, but wtf is he actually saying in either of his contributions?

2 word salads about plugging gaps and working synergistically, nothing about fitness, injuries, tangible things like that.

I'm even more suspicious of and irritated by him than I was before and suspect he's basically Nourry's operational deputy these days, when he's not on aeroplane mode.

Ominous stuff earlier about the huge Birmingham and Wrexham budgets for this season.

I think Nourry is coming across well as a business man and understanding of what is required at all levels in a football club.

We taking a lot of players that discarded at age levels from premier league clubs which we can develop due to our improved training set up and facilities.

Wrexhams sponsorship revenue in league one at £30 million, which apparently 7 times what most in our league create.

Maybe we need get hollywood actors involved and a Netflix series a la Wrexham. Sounds mad but thats how Wrexham have improved.

Interesting answer from Ben Williams on higher rate of injuries last year, 45% of which involved non-contraction tissue and bone rather than muscle injuries.

Well guess so many clubs sponsored by dodgy organisations.

Ie so many bookmakers sponsoring clubs ie they not ethical businesses.

Money talks, i guess

Nourry is on the Hammersmith Fulham council about businesses in the area so hopefully means QPR have more impact regards council plannings for the future

Said possibly more safe standing seats and they are still.looking at how they could improve current site and also maybe increase heston training facilities etc

As a night out , would think wasnt a barrel of laughs, but generally made sense.

As for a visual viewing extravaganza, think even watching a weeks episodes of Eastenders would have been a better choice !!!!!

Got to say I thought CN came across quite well, far better than I was expecting, no condescending technobabble. Not exactly oozing charisma, but if he gets the job right, I'm not bothered about that. Whether it turns out to work or not, there is a plan, my concern would be how flexible he is actually prepared to be if circumstances dictate. There's no way anyone could have told me I was wrong about anything at his age!

JS is clearly a fairly charismatic dude and I think there's a decent chance the fanbase will warm to him provided we don't get off to a completely calamitous start.

Ffs

Why FFS?

Lowball offers probably made to 2 aging but experienced players at this level
They have until Sept to try and get a better offer elsewhere.
No panic

Especially when some on here would say both were liabilities at times anyway.

If Dunne was holding out at this then I would worry wtf was going on.

They were asked future aspirations and general.word was five years time need be in premier league. We ambitious but realistic was the word

Lot of emphasis on getting young players greater opportunities earlier and sell ons for profits. But negotiating with two years left, offers on table but if not be looking to move players on as need get money in for them and never have chances of leaving for diddly squat.

No new signings today. I thought there would be.

I think myself next one there should not be a need for Christian Nourry to attend and have more on the football side of the club.

But on football side, i really liked how Julien Stephan came across. Was laid back, funny but also focussed and real and can see especially why younger players in past have developed under him and as a fan of Cifuentes myself but he could be quite abrasive / bristly at times and think Stephan would be more of a calming influence as a manager.

We shall see !!!!!

If Nourry no showed I think that'd be a new 40 page thread, be careful with that one!

Thought everyone came off well, JS definitely got his humorous side, interesting to hear more of the facts from Ben Williams

Just don't see how we can't be finding better, younger players than Fox in particular at this stage - isn't that meant to be the plan?

Its built on sand , when ratings go down and its not worth making anymore the names will leave . along with the commercial revenue .
