On the evidence we have, I know that this is implausible, but I really hope that Celar shows up for us.
I'm still clinging to the 2 strikes he gave us before his injury, that they are the real Celar, and not the fella who couldn't do a thing right.
Otherwise, it has to be Burrell, who isn't proven at this level (but looks good), or Kolli, who really is at the stage where he's had the hype, and now has to prove it.

I agree and we still haven’t really seen a starting 11 in pre-season, with one game to go.
I can only imagine that we took the deal for Kelman to stick some funds away for purchases, whilst we take a little longer with others, but we are leaving it late to bring in new players AND integrate them with just over a week to go.
I am guessing we’ll be back into the loan market again in a few weeks time and it could well be for some key positions. |  |

He didn't turn up banging on the door saying he was the next Haaland, we did our due diligence - scouting, analytics, negotiations etc, he hasn't stolen anything, its just one of those things.
Its taken him time to settle, and his injury certainly hasn't helped matters, but there was that glimmer of hope with the 2 well taken strikes before he got injured, i'm clinging on to that. | | | |

If the MIchael Frey is going to be spending half the season on the treatment table then I don't want Alfie Lloyd to be loaned out to a League One team. He is my replacement for the Unicorn.
Furthermore, I don't want to spend 10 minutes of my time every week checking an 'Alfie Lloyd watch at Bolton thread' only for him to come back in June and then be sold in July. [Post edited 1 Aug 13:30]
