Who will spearhead our attack on Saturday Aug 9 ? on 14:59 - Jul 31 with 3051 views | EuroRanger | Surely it's Burrell this Saturday at least. Frey would be the likely option but since he's been unfit and missed all of preseason... I hope we have Ba / An Other through the door by then too. If Celar is staying then it wouldn't surprise me to see him, unfortunately...

Who will spearhead our attack on Saturday Aug 9 ? on 16:11 - Jul 31 with 2823 views | Monkey_Roots | On the evidence we have, I know that this is implausible, but I really hope that Celar shows up for us. I'm still clinging to the 2 strikes he gave us before his injury, that they are the real Celar, and not the fella who couldn't do a thing right. Otherwise, it has to be Burrell, who isn't proven at this level (but looks good), or Kolli, who really is at the stage where he's had the hype, and now has to prove it. None of those give me confidence as of right now, but i'm hoping...
Who will spearhead our attack on Saturday Aug 9 ? on 16:35 - Jul 31 with 2726 views | simmo | Our striker situation is dire. If Frey can't at least get himself on the bench this Saturday, we're in a situation where Burrell is our only option, making his first ever step up to championship level... Add in Varane and the keeper situation, and the spine of our team looks worrying.

I agree and we still haven’t really seen a starting 11 in pre-season, with one game to go. I can only imagine that we took the deal for Kelman to stick some funds away for purchases, whilst we take a little longer with others, but we are leaving it late to bring in new players AND integrate them with just over a week to go. I am guessing we’ll be back into the loan market again in a few weeks time and it could well be for some key positions.

He would ‘elevate’ our attack and ‘lift’ the team quickly….

Why would then buy a striker who costs more than the one we just sold. No way are QPR spending £5 million on anyone and thats even if we got money from Eze. Did you not hear the plan as laid out at the forum. [Post edited 1 Aug 0:29]

Who will spearhead our attack on Saturday Aug 9 ? on 05:01 - Aug 1 with 1537 views | ozexile | It's just a typical QPR start to the season. We are never ready for August. Which is a shame cause the cup game is soon and that's one third of our season.

And the front end of our season is loaded with the “easier” games. We really need to start getting points on the board fairly quickly.

Why? I feel sorry for us. He's mostly been stealing a living from us and should be ashamed to call himself a professional footballer.

Yes, why don't we all start slagging off individual players before the season has even started. That should boost their confidence.

He didn't turn up banging on the door saying he was the next Haaland, we did our due diligence - scouting, analytics, negotiations etc, he hasn't stolen anything, its just one of those things. Its taken him time to settle, and his injury certainly hasn't helped matters, but there was that glimmer of hope with the 2 well taken strikes before he got injured, i'm clinging on to that.

Who will spearhead our attack on Saturday Aug 9 ? on 13:28 - Aug 1 with 796 views | Logman | If the MIchael Frey is going to be spending half the season on the treatment table then I don't want Alfie Lloyd to be loaned out to a League One team. He is my replacement for the Unicorn. Furthermore, I don't want to spend 10 minutes of my time every week checking an 'Alfie Lloyd watch at Bolton thread' only for him to come back in June and then be sold in July.
