HARD TO BELIEVE 09:36 - Aug 24 with 4114 viewsgazza1

That Nourry......

Decides the players that we sign & sell
Picks the Team
Decides the Team tactics
Has any input into the Teams dead ball situations

What does the manager/coach do???

Sorry but I just do not believe it.

It was rumoured last year that nourry kept coming into the dressing room and getting involved in team selection. Thats when MC started getting peed off.

Hardly a suprise that he decided to look for another job!!

If any of these rumours of UT involving himself as alleged are true, then you can imagine the type of fop he'll employ as a manager and what idiocy above him allows this.

Frankly, if JS or any player planted one on UT's smug moosh, it might be just what the upstart needs. I bet Marti is absolutely wetting himself laughing at UT.

It was evident when we played our pre season games at the training ground, Nourry was stood on the touchline, next to all the young players on the subs bench.

It would not be a massive stretch to believe what you are saying.

It's not like the hierarchy dabbled where they should not before. Briatore sat next to managers saying how sh*t some players were and advocating his Italian mates to come on, who were awful...

I did suggest, tongue in cheek, we should do another reality tv show, behind closed doors a la Wrexham, to raise more funds, and the sh*t sh*w we are currently, unfortunately for those reasons, would actually get very good viewing figures.

He has appointed himself as a 'sporting ceo'. I would think that he would be present at games and maybe training as part of his director of football remit. See how players are training, developing to understand what is needed. Not defending him but I do also think if he was never present people would be saying he should be there to see what's going on

When it comes to hard to believes you start with It's Hard To Believe that our owners appointed a young novice as CEO and DOF and gave him such a free reign.

I would find it hard to believe that our current situation resembles anything close to what Nourry promised our owners. He has turned the playing part of the club upside down.

Amit will have made plenty of friends and acquaintances during his time in football, starting with Mr Warnock, and I hope that he is seeking advice right now.

As a business, as a cornerstone of the community and as a football club we still have a lot to offer and this current irritant is easily dealt with.

If that was true we would know about it. Dave Mcwould know, Lassel would know it would have come out pretty quickly.

Even if they were the best of buddies do you really think Marti would have turned down Leicester, parachute payments etc. The only way he was ever staying another season was if he had been so mediocre that no one wanted him and good enough for us not to sack him. The window for that set of circumstances was tiny.

But that isn’t what happened is it? Nourry concocted some BS excuse to sack Marti after he’d performed miracles keeping a pisspoor squad in the Championship not just once, but twice. Martí THEN got snapped up by Leicester whilst the man-child brought in his puppet, le Shrug. This moron will relegate us by Christmas unless our clueless absentee owners act now.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

Marti walked around Loftus Road at the end of last season answering questions about if he was staying or not by saying he would if he was wanted. I believed him. The problem was always that Nourry didn't want him.

Wasn't going to bite on this but I'm still absolutely livid so sod it...

"Decides the players that we sign & sell"
He's the CEO. He signs this off. Literally his remit. If not him then who? And why are they still here?

"Picks the Team"
We've barely had 11 players to rub together in all three league games due to A) What looks like a disastrous preseason from a fitness perspective. Nourry has employed, retained AND PROMOTED the guy directly accountable for this despite him moving continents for a year. And B) the squad balance that's the result of his recruitment which has left the coach with one senior fullback and two senior central midfielders (if you don't count Madsen as a professional footballer, which you might as well not.) So by proxy, yes he does have an enormous influence and accountability for the team that's picked.

I'll also point toward the selection of Walsh as an extremely strange instinct for a brand new manager to have, given you have an experienced 30+ year old pro as an alternative. Also strange that he found his way onto the team sheet the minute Nourry had banished Cifuentes.

"Decides the Team tactics"
He has literally and brazenly talked about instilling the 'game model' across the entire club which will have tactical directives that the head coach will be laden with. Why else would we be pricking about with the ball from our own goal kicks when we have a goalkeeper that looks like he's about to shart every time the ball goes anywhere near him, let alone having the ball at his feet with a striker pressing the life out of him.

"Has any input into the Teams dead ball situations"
See above. But this is the least of our worries.

If he's not accountable for this latest disaster I assume you lay all the blame upon the coach? Well if so... We've clearly regressed from last year which can only lead to the conclusion we have a worse coach. Well sorry but Nourry's in the cross hairs again there as he dismissed the last one and chose this one in farcical circumstances.

If you're not sick of / worried about this man being in charge of OUR football club by now I don't know what he'd have to do to make you so.

Hard to beleive but it's happning right in front of your eyes

If you think this first team coach came in and picked Walsh as the numbr 1 or picked that team and those subs for the cup game then fair play but it's pretty obvious he didn't

I believe the core of it but there are elements of embellishment that I do not believe.

Consider what you do know, Christian Nourry is our CEO and DOF with no previous experience. Consider the fan unrest, the project, the squad, the injuries, the fitness and our prospects for this season.

Great post and also DaveB’s post below it .

It’s happening in plain sight and as a fanbase we have just accepted it .
Some refuse to believe it . Time to open your eyes and at the very least accept we have a big problem even if you don’t believe everything you read .

Why would so many decent honest QPR fans be all saying the same thing ?
There is no anti Nourry meetings (not yet 😄) where they are all gathered together in dimly lit rooms . It’s what people are seeing and hearing with their own eyes and ears and info from people they trust within the fan base .

It’s not a smear campaign because he’s young for god sake .
It’s because he shouldn’t be in the role . He shouldn’t be trying to feather his own nest and he shouldnt be anywhere near having his say on who to sign , play or how they do it in the pitch .

It’s madness and I can’t believe people still rebut against that .
If you do , you are now as much of the problem because it’s plain for most to see .

Yesterday wasn’t a reason for dissent and protest it’s the tiny cherry on a huge self indulgent self absorbed cake

Boardroom meeting 26th August 2025
Present: Christian Nourry, Ben Williams, Set Piece Coach
CN; Welcome gents to our weekly post match analysis. I haven`t invited Julien as he tends to waffle on and me and Ben have a squash match in a bit. So first off we go to set pieces.
SPC: We didn`t get any.
CN: So 0% failures so that`s 100% success rate on set pieces (enters on spreadsheet). So on to you Ben
BW: We had 11players on the pitch for the full 90 minutes plus there were no reported
injuries from our under 3s squad
CN: Excellent news I will enter better than expectation onto the spreadsheet.
Now as DOF the metric I`ve chosen this week is the chances/conversion rate and by my analysis we scored one from one so 100% whilst Coventry missed some of their chances. So I will enter better than opposition into the spreadsheet.
This project is obviously coming along nicely with all the green boxes showing - what do those minions coming through the turnstiles know.
See you at the court in a bit Ben
