Vale isn't the quickest player and a number of things not coming off for him but I do see a player there. The execution not quite there but the thought process shows a footballer. He has looked shocking again today. All Charltons descent attacks have cone down our right. Dunne offered zero protection by Dembele yet again. Just doesn't want to do the hard, ugly stuff.

Madsen is going to take criticism every game. Sometimes he deserves it, sometimes he doesn't. He's been fine today, won a few tackles and played some decent passes. Shame people can't look past the bad performances and give credit when it's due. | | | |

I think they are both essentially playing just in front of the back 4 but Varane is sitting deeper, that's how it looks to me.
Madsen has done the cover and link up, I think if Varane stepped up he may be able to break up play more effectively, I suspect he will get hooked for Field around 60 if he doesn't. | |

He is having a very good game with his passing and tackling so far. He has done well.
Overall decent half. Charlton could well be level. We could easily have had a second.
Nourrington Davies has been decent. Mbuenge looking great and Vale has shown promise.

Worst player on the QPR starting 11 today has given the ball away multiple times and continues to lose every 50/50 tackle just not strong enough .
Saito has to be introduced right away we need to carry the ball upfield those punts are not working .

Need to reboot on the energy and ‘revenge’ intensity because it drastically wore off as the half went on. Old habits emerged and we sank progressively deeper. Madsen seems to be getting the requirements of the Championship, Battling, winning headers and tackles. RND a very solid performer.
