Still Lee Cook. ;)

I reckon Nourry is going to put himself on the mic in the second half to hang out #nourryscooking

Stoke having a lot of possession. Mostly, in their own half.

True, they're pottering around in their own end.

Important to remember three of our players were plying their trade in the division below last season. Thought we competed really well but lacked a bit of cohesion when the ball was in their half. Commitment is good.

The type of team we just hate playing against - snapping at our ankles, no time to play. Consequently we’re under so much pressure we can’t retain the ball. You don’t win if you don’t
take care of the ball….as someone once said.

I think we are doing well, battling away, good to see. I'm worried though if we go a goal down that will be it. Stoke seem reminiscent of Preston over the last few years with Pearson and the ref surrounding and play acting. That would basically be the end of the football side of the game

True.
We've turned them over a few times, too, though.

Change needed at HT, madsen needs to drop back and Koki may have to make way if he can't trap the ball. Not his day so far.

Can see this getting away from us if we're not careful

Very PNE, I agree.

Dunne's been active as well, though, and working the ref.

Ref abysmal too. Premier League?

3 mins on the back of 7 minute of delays. Whistling constantly. And my biggest beef telling a player to stop there for throw-ins then letting them have a 10 yard run up further down the line.

If we go behind, I can see myself getting annoyed here...

Can we go out yet?

Find it hard to call this one.

Not sure I'd make any changes just yet, we just have to take a few passes and try to get some control when we have the ball.

Is that Sints on the pitch at half time with the older players ?

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Not too sure about that half... just seen the stats and Stoke have apparently had 62% possession and done fcuk all with it... we really should have got a goal that half (Vale definitely, Kone oh so close)

Thought we played pretty well, Madsen a giant in our midfield winning tackles and headers.. but seriously playing well.

Here at the ground that Mbengue challenge looked pretty near the red card bone.. and gave a drop ball...

While typing this see the old boys on the pitch... I remember those guys tearing up the 1st division... now they look so old... makes me feel ancient

Still back to today... 2nd half... pretty much more of the same really... wouldn't change too much... we haven't played badly.. perhaps a tweak...

Yeah there's not much in it. Stoke dominating possession but the most dangerous moments have been unforced errors. When we have got forward we've looked more likely to score.

Agree that first goal will be decisive though (cliche klaxon)

Stoke are doing a great job of pressing, but I also think we've handled it better than in previous seasons which is promising

Agree with a lot of that, Malintanuk.

Madsen our best player in that half, I thought.
Mbengue a yellow, i would say.

Indeed. I recognised maybe half of them. Never realised Phil Parkes was so tall, and Gerry Francis so short. Even though I watched both every week in their heyday.
