Happy Birthday Spaceman - hope the Rs give you and us a good present. 40 Eh? those were the days.

I was told that 70 is the new 50 - still the resultant Driving awareness course wasn't too bad

Yes that’s a good move: you’ve really stepped up in the last few games mate.

Lose on Saturday and you’re out by the way.

The cut throat world of fred starting...

If we could couple a Spaceman authored fred with Stowmarket reviving his walk from Oxford Circus to W12, we'd be European Champions within 2 years.

Happy Burrfffday, my 40th was on a cold, wet January day during lockdown, so had no one to see, nowhere to go and nothing to do... make the most of it (downhill from 'ere)

Just looking at the odds the night before the match. Find the goal scorer props a bit interesting.

Kone at 51/20 (+255) while Burrel at 53/20 (+265).

Given the price, Kone an absolute no brainer? Who takes the pens?

So we have the Spaceman match thread magic, plus his birthday.

I thought Madsen was probably the pen taker before we had two strikers who are familiar with scoring. He had a pretty good hit rate from the spot previously and wonder if that has now changed.

Not sure how many defenders are silly enough to foul Kone with some inevitable retribution dished out, but it’s an interesting point with Burrell’s pace and Saito’s trickery. We may see a few more given in our favour this season and I wonder if we practice them.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Back to the Championship, premier league ref, going for a 1-1 draw subject to Mbengue getting his marching orders late on, rather than early.

I'm at a bit of a lose on this one. I do wonder if Smyth is brought straight back in to help nullify Sorba Thomas?

1-1.

Happy Birthday Spaceman ( presume you are not living on Mars)

I’m 63 and still in my head I’ve not even reached 40 yet.

Loftus Road will be rocking Saturday, early goal, equaliser and then the strength of our bench wins the day.

2-1 Kone and Frey, would just love that. There are goals in this team

"I’m 63 and still in my head I’ve not even reached 40 yet."

Haha, I resemble that remark .

This game will be particularly tough, I'd take a draw. I reckon
1-1.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Esquerdinha out of the squad.

Anyone know if he's injured?

Nope. Just didn’t make the 18.

Sheff Utd’s paid for average LB plays instead of our own average LB that we could improve.

That's a bit snarky mate. How about we all unite behind the team?

Smyth basically the only change in the 18 to be different.

So in for Esquerdinha.

Smyth gives is another option off the bench and assuming they want RND to do the full 90, but Smyth could do a job there also.

Change makes sense to me.

It's about winning a particular game. RND, is here.for the season, maybe longer. Who knows - we might end up buying him, like countless others.
Esquerdinha will get plenty more opportunities also.

He must be injured. Shirley?

He's the only other left-back we have and I can't see how we'd not give him one of the seven subs' shirts if he was fit.

Must be fairly confident of N-D playing the full 90.
