Idah did kick the ball out of Behda’s hands but it was close. A push in the box with 2 hands went unpunished at the death. Don’t give me this ‘it all levels itself out’ cr@p because I’m not seeing that at the moment. Two bad decisions in two games could have cost us 4 points. I’m fuming😡😡

Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 14:31 - Sep 27 with 1723 views | Fireboy2 | If that had happened anywhere on the pitch it would have been a penalty. What an effing joke the ref is. Feel.sorry for the boys, we deserved a win. Btw idah is poor. Going to take a while for him to get upto speed, if he ever does.
Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 14:31 - Sep 27 with 1723 views | AnotherJohn | Some good football from us in some passages of play, but we eased up again after going ahead and let Millwall back into the game. They had a couple of very good chances. Having said that the ref did us absolutely no favours with three very controversial decisions. I think at least one should have gone our way. We either have a mentality problem or the manager is asking them to sit deep. We looked weak in the middle of the park today and most of our problems were down to losing possession easily and panicking a little when we win the ball back. Cooper for them is a proper hard nut centre half who used the dark arts today and the reg was too weak to punish him. Don’t know about the push but the pull back was a definite pen

It’s impossible for VIP to have made that movement without intervention (pull back) from the defender. It’s like saying the second shot that hit JFK was from behind. Physics suggests completely the opposite. He wouldn’t have done it anyway as he was nailed on to score😡

Re your last paragraph. Yes I normally think it will level out but that's 3 decisions in 2 games, we should be on 11 pts in 4th place, the refs and their assistants are a joke.

Bit of pressure on us to get something at Ewood Park. Mightn’t be a bad thing. You going?

I cant see us getting anything there, would be happy with a point now. Yes im going, going to meet a good mate in wigan for a few decent beers, food and a chinwag, then meeting my eldest in preston for a few more. After that we will be going onto a pub in mill hill which is nearer to the ground that the centre, afer the game we will be going to chorley after the game to finish the day/evening off.

The exit wound was in the front of his head so the shot definitely came from behind. It was biology that yanked his head back as it caused a muscle spasm. Also definitely a penalty.

Wouldn’t say pressure. We are where we’ve been for a number of years now, boringly run of the mill and mid table. Frustrating that it feels like we’ve dropped at least 5 or 6 points already this season though and could be higher. Need that killer instinct.

Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 15:43 - Sep 27 with 1339 views | Fireboy2 | Mcburnie scores again. In hindsight we should have pushed the boat out and signed him instead of idah, who atm isnt showing any signs of promise.
Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 15:53 - Sep 27 with 1289 views | lifelong | I thought Vigouroux had a poor game today, should have come for that cross at the death in the first half. Was also lucky in the second half not to gift them the winner.
Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 16:10 - Sep 27 with 1198 views | Whiterockin | I thought we were poor today not helped by a ref who didn't clamp down on niggling fouls throughout the game. We are just not getting the ball forward quickly enough giving the opposition time to regroup and then we struggle to break them down. Ronald does not beat his defender enough on the outside and needs a rest. Conceding again in added time is just not acceptable. Is it to early to question the coaching staff, Sheehan did better last season with inferior players there must be a reason. We should be getting better results with the squad we have, I previously said judge us after 10 games, we have played 7 will our ruthless owners have patience lets see.

Sheehan is safe for now. We are not losing every week though huge improvements are required without a doubt. We need to start moving the ball quicker though. It’s far too stop:start and any momentum we had evaporates. Totally agree about Ronald. Flatters to deceive more than most players.

Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 16:18 - Sep 27 with 1146 views | AguycalledJack | We scored and again took our foot off the gas. When will they learn that all this does is allow the opposition back into the game. The couldn't live with us up until the goal.once we scored the body language of the players changed. Full backs- wing backs exposed again. We were lucky not to be 2-1 down halftime.
Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 16:26 - Sep 27 with 1113 views | Dr_Winston | A fair bit of hyperbole doing the rounds. It wasn't a terrible performance by any stretch, but crucially it wasn't good enough to take the three points against a very average Millwall side. Sheehan's substitutions were generally bold, if perhaps a teensy bit late, but by then the damage was done. Whether it's still a hangover from seasons past or a result of Sheehan's own preferences (or maybe a bit of both) we're still far too lacking in aggression against teams we could be beating. The amount of opportunities we had to attack space or play a creative pass that went begging was too much. In fairness it's probably worth noting that we seemed to purposely avoid playing too many crosses into their box given how large they all were, something that passed a lot of people by, but we need to be sharper in the areas that matter than we were. And yes, we desperately need a more creative presence in midfield. I don't know if Widell was injured or just out of favour, but we have to be giving him more opportunities. If not him, then Eom centrally. We can't keep going with three midfielders all essentially doing the same job.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 16:30 - Sep 27 with 1093 views | Landore_Jack | Sheehan needs to wise up. With Modric and Snoop Dog on board, plus the money spent in the summer transfer window, he will be under pressure from the fans and owners to get results. The last three league results have been very disappointing.

Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 16:56 - Sep 27 with 1003 views | swan65split | Ref was poor, another one! that was obvious, Despite some flashes, performance was ,,,,,hummm questionable, as we seem to have a group of players, including those not involved today , who should be really performing by now. Potters been sacked today, I have a feeling if we dont start putting it together soon , we may seem some movement here also.

I don’t think he’s near the stage where his job is under threat at the moment. But he should and I think will be judged much more strictly than Williams or Duff. Their squads were in managed decline. Sheehan has been backed to the hilt and I expect our owners will want some kind of return and won’t be afraid to press the button if they don’t see a tangible improvement before too long. We are going to get outmuscled by teams like Milwall and Hull. He needs to quickly work out how to overcome that.
Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 17:29 - Sep 27 with 864 views | SullutaCreturned | My turn, having waited a while to cool down because today really riled me. First the ref, he booked Cabango for a shirt pull, ayt half time the stats were 3 fouls by us and 10 by Millwall with 2 of them being taking a players legs from behind but he didn't book them. In the second it continued for a while with the oppo getting away with loads of shirt pulling, shoves in the back and general shithousery. They are a dirty team. Second, Key today was utter garbage, he was useless in defence and kept slowing is down going forward to the point somebody called him a Grimes clone. No, not me. We lacked fire and urgency, we slowed it down and let them organise their defence, we dodn't try quick pass and move we just stood around. several times we literally lost possession because the ball holder had no one to pass to. When we did attack with pace it was usually Inoussa and he looked dangerous. Galbraith was trying but all too often players took the easy option, sideways or backwards instead of going for the forward pass. We made some bad decisions. The goal, in my opinion, was just shit. Cabango was being fouled and Vigoroux should have claimed the ball but he just froze on his line, the keeper should have had it but he's not brave enough. He did something similar at Birmingham, he had a one on one but he was favourite, he didn't try to smother the ball but let the forward get there first, fortunately he made a good save. Vipotnik played well and deserved better. Aside from him, Inoussa and Galbraith U can't say anybody plyed really well, they were just blurgh. Millwall are spoilers and they were helped by an idiot ref, they bullied us and he let them get away with it time and again. Where has all the passion and desire gone, we had it last season when Sheehan took over. Is the big difference that now he IS the boss full time, he feels the pressure and isn't making the best decisions? On paper we have a much better squad but our results are worse. Such are my thoughts on today. PS, before I forget, Idah looks a long way from the player want, just like Vip did last season. Idah looks a waste of money but maybe in 12 months time he'll have caught up!
