So what are you saying? Get rid of the team and keep sheehan?

I wish I was as confident. We can’t go on like this. A spirited end to the game which should have seen Vipotnik equalise but even with the limited chances we were wasteful.

Not a great team selection tonight, as the improvement near the end showed. However, the general lack of quality remains an issue whatever permutation of players we field.

Unless sheehan miraculously turns it around we will get another manager soon and he will sort it.

Its certainly looking that way. I never thought id say this, this early, if we dont beat Norwich sheehan should be sacked. [Post edited 22 Oct 21:55]

When Sheehan was given the job not all the powers that be were in agreement, was that Montague? "Not all pulling in the same direction" was mentioned during the last window. There are football people and there are computer geeks.

It’s becoming increasingly obvious that he doesn’t know his best 11 and putting square pegs into round holes is creating confusion on the pitch. Nobody seems to know what they’re supposed to be doing, what their job is and it would explain the over cautious, hesitant approach apparent in the last 4 or 5 games. The subs gave a slither of hope but there’s very little swagger or confidence and belief in any sort of game management and plan. Luckily I watched from the comfort of my local boozer. If Id paid to watch that turgid rubbish on a wet schoolnight in Swansea I’d be mightily pee’d off…. [Post edited 22 Oct 22:05]

Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day thread UPDATED on 22:05 - Oct 22 with 974 views | union_jack | There are many things wrong with us but the three I’ll highlight are: 1. No tactics or creativity. There’s no evidence of training ground moves being played out. This has to be down to Sheehan and his team. 2. We don’t have players who can take on and beat a man. I didn’t see it at all where it mattered tonight. Is this lack of ability or lack of confidence? I’d say the latter as we’ve seen the likes of Inoussa and Rom take on players successfully in the past. Down to Sheehan? 3. We are physically weak. We don’t put hard tackles in and lose the vast majority of 50:50s. These themes are seen week in and week out so not a knee jerk reaction. I’m sure there’s a better team in there waiting to be coached properly.

Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day thread UPDATED on 22:53 - Oct 22 with 552 views | swancity | That was a disappointing, lacklustre showing from us tonight. We looked predictable and lethargic in and out of possession but certainly lacked creativity pace and movement But talk of sacking the manager now is absolute nonsense. Our points per game ratio since he was appointed last season is very good, considering our situation at that time. QPR surprised me. They were well drilled and deserved the win. A decent team to be fair.

Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day thread UPDATED on 22:54 - Oct 22 with 542 views | Dr_Winston | Not great. Better towards the end of the game when we had players who at least wanted to get the ball forward. Widell showed us precisely what we've been missing for most of the season; a bit of movement and willingness to look forward. We have to pick a better midfield. Galbraith selects himself. I've got increasing doubts over Stamenic so would go with Franco as our DM. Widell has to have a run at AM. Idah wasn't terrible but Vipotnik is just better. Cullen chased and harried in fairness to him.

Totally agree ,we were utter crap before the sending off,too slow and negative like the last couple of performances and that’s down to Sheehan ,once again the wrong team and tactics I struggle to see what Idah offers and what his strengths are and I know we were chasing the game but we looked far more proactive when Stamenic went off , Zan should have started and Widell should have come on much earlier,Key in fairness was ok when he came on but I can’t see why Sheehan brought Cullen on and why he keeps using him , is Cullen a secret investor and insists he plays or does Sheehan owe him money or something, why did he take the free kick on the wrong side of the pitch for him ,ludicrous Sheehan got the gig on the back of the performances at the end of last season,a million miles better than what he’s serving up now.Norwich's is now a big big game and I also agree if we lose he has to go

Well hopefully we will start the game against Norwich like we finished tonight's game. O'dea needs to be shown the door as imo hes the one bringing the negativity to the side.

I don't know who does what so I'm not going to point specific fingers. It just has to be better or changes will be made.

You are Mrs Sheehan and I claim my prize. Seriously though, we've improved the squad dramatically, the manager has been responsible for making wrong selections, wrong tactics, poor predictable substitutions, and generally boring the pants off everyone. He'll be out on his backside if things dont improve very quickly, which is a massive shame.

It will be a shame. Some people have a visceral loathing for him which I find quite odd. He's a likeable guy, certainly not a bullshitter like some of his predecessors. It's just not working out at the moment. And he has to make it work or he will be replaced.
