Ipswich have had a decent start and are predicted to do well.

The sort of opposition that QPR seem to up their game against.

Thinking its going to be a Desmond ; 2 - 2.

Interesting team news today which I think will say a lot.

If Willock and Richards not selected or brought on as a sub, think they going to be peripheral players here.

Interesting if any of the younger boys get picked.

I don't see it unfortunately.

Being overseas I was stunned to see Ipswich are unbeaten in 20 something games going back to last Season.
I think they are one team we always do very well against plus being our first game at home I like our chances .
2 - 1 to the Superhoops with Armstrong scoring his first goal at home in front of the loft which will be cause a small earthquake in West London

I’m optimistic today, think Ipswich are a little too over confident, 2-1 to us .

I think we will go to a disappointing 2-0 loss. Hope I’m wrong

Just realised due to holidays ( no sympathy) and work commitments I can’t use my season ticket until end of October. That should have a positive effect on the result as the last home win i saw was Wigan last October!!! So thank me later and someone give my mate Belchers a hug ( we sit next to each other) 2-1 which may mean i never turn up again, which would not please Mrs Andybrat

My bathroom plumber-to-be (or maybe not to be) confessed to being an avid Ipswich fan, who has a bet on us to be relegated. I wondered whether after today, he might be an ex-tractor fan (old jokes No.94)

0-2

Full disclosure (for the benefit of those that are sensitive about duplicate posts on separate threads), my view as posted on the opposition thread:

Ipswich will come with a game-plan to nullify our strengths and expose our weaknesses, and tweak things during the game, if necessary, whilst we’ll huff and puff and make like-for-like substitutions that make us worse. The only way I can see us getting anything out of this game is if Willock has had an epiphany and pulls a worldy or three out of the hat.

Ipswich spending the whole game trying to nullify our strengths only to realise in the 90th minute that we don't really have any. Nail biting 1-0.

Willock in for Dykes.

Disappointed to be missing this one. Will be very interesting now that Willock is back.

And me, sure it has been said before but Willock looks like Will Smith. Need him to be punching above his weight today. 1st 11 looks as good as it can with a half decent bench. SDM being nasty would have been my choice over Dozzell

It'll be interesting to see if he is engaged and can run himself into some form.

Well Willock starting adds some intrigue. Very different player to Dykes of course, will we set up in the same shape as against Cardiff?

Optimistically, if we can get on the front foot and Sinclair worries the defense into sitting back, it provides a lot of space for Chair and Willock to link up in.

If that front trio clicks Ipswich might have more to deal with than they’d bargained for.

I did say if.

Win 4-0, Leicester lose and everyone else draws, we'll be top!

Let that sink in and then let it frighten the sh1t out of ITFC.

That's not a bad line up considering we knew Dykes would be out.

A few faces around today I'm told. Opening of the Legends bar, Sinton doing the honours behind the jump. Can just see it now...

Sinton..." hello Gerry(Francis), what can I get you?"

Francis..."thanks Sint's, I'll have a pint of lager"

Hoos..."that'll be seven pound, fifty please".

Shame you not able watch Brian

Yes I think a decent performance from Willock today and belief will change.

With a firing Chris Willock in our team, our outlook is far rosier, Chair , Armstrong and Dykes games much more effective if Willock is on the form he can achieve.

Appreciate there are many who think that the days of Willock performing for QPR are finished.

We shall see.

Some of us still live in hope.

Just listened to the end of the Plymouth V Southampton game. The commentator said Southampton look very good and furthermore they have a very easy game next week against QPR

3-2, reminiscent of the boro away game under warbs (minus the red though).
