Charlie Kelman’s Leyton Orient 12:00 - Feb 8 with 142887 viewsDannyPaddox

Up against Man City in the FFS that was offside FA Cup. I prepare to stand corrected but I think Charlie is still our player but as I take as much interest in modern football players contracts and transfers as I do in mobile phone contracts I could be wrong. Either way seems like a good lad and having a decent season with a club I like so up the O’s!

Up against a central defender today in Ruben Dias who’s worth approx £75 mil … would love to see Charlie meg him.

Our guy in Dubai will soon fix that.

Apart from Kellman, his strike partner Dan Ageyi looked pretty decent yesterday. Great pace, ball control and an eye for a goal(in this match v Huddersfield)

2015–2019 Burnley 3 (0)
2016–2017 → Coventry City (loan) 16 (4)
2017–2018 → Walsall (loan) 18 (4)
2018 → Blackpool (loan) 9 (0)
2019–2022 Oxford United 66 (8)
2022–2023 Crewe Alexandra 55 (17)
2023– Leyton Orient 42 (9)

Probably cost a pretty packet but has the look of a brutal sriker

captains fantastic

Yes 12.30pm start on Sky

If Orient managed to get promotion would Charlie prefer to stay at Orient where he would be the main man up front and where he has progressed under the current management set up there, whereas at QPR he is likely to be a choice of four centre forwards more than likely and if he does end up here there are no guarantees his style wiĺ fit with ourselves or whether the new manager fancies him as his main man.

Would be definite question marks I would think

He may well prefer to stay there but as we own him it’s not necessarily up to him.
Obviously there’s no point in keeping him if he really doesn’t want to stay but we’ll expect a decent fee for him.
I’d like to see what he can do for us though.

If they get promoted do we sell and buy another, have Kelman eat our lunch when we play the O’s?

That was so much offside, Sinclair Armstrong even said that’s taking the píss.

Maybe the linesman never saw the touch by the Orient player, but surely the ref did?

If Orient lose in the semis, can we play Kelman in the Premier League cup final??

He has never done anything for us in a QPR shirt, I know he has had limited chances, but never any sign at Championship level that he could do it at this level. But you never know, assume he will probably be sold to Orient if they go up. If we are clever should put a sell on clause in the sale, just in case he does make a stab at it in the Championship.

It's a sell for me. He has definitely strengthened up but IMO seems a bit lazy. I think league 1 is his level.

Like Eze was lazy? A QPR player is the leading scorer in the division below and that's not good enough to give him a run in the side? Un-fuuuuuuuuuuuuucking-believable.

The grass is always greener.

Agreed, also given that we’ll likely struggle against the promoted sides, seem solidly coached

It's very ironic to call a professional sportsman playing at a very high level being described and in particular when he also has the golden boot for the league he currently plays in, as lazy.

So many centre forwards are labelled as lazy by people who I would hazard a guess don't nutritionally watch all they eat and exercise every single day.

Les Ferdinand was often called lazy by couple men near me at the time who worked their way through several pukka pies during play.

25 goals and several assists suggest he knows his role in the game.

I have seen several Orient games this season and for me quite often he does put in a real shift as well as being a threat.

But yes lazy good for nothing. Needs to pull up his socks does that Charlie K..

And two goals in play off semi also now
