Blimey excellent for 20 minutes even Madsen having a good game then Varane goes from World Class to Sunday League for the next 20 minutes, Colback drops his levels and its all them until we score on 2nd phase, the cross in being the only thing Smyth has done right.
Props to Bennie you can see he has got a football brain and his runs and movement have caused them problems. Both centre backs excellent again.

A totally amazing if unexpected first half there... and credit where it is due we thoroughly deserved that
We have defended well... and caused problems for them in their box... without a forward
Everyone put a shift in... perhaps Smyth a little quiet... but really that is it. Varane has bossed midfield... Bennie has put himself about and done.... both CBs have dominated and Dunne is immense on set pieces in both boxes
But for me the stand outs are Paal and Field. Paal gets pelters, but he never injured and apart from a few brain farms,is pretty reliable. If he never had them, then he wouldn't be with us
Field though, played a captains knock. Played forward and was everywhere... we are a much better team with him, and we missed him so much
