Eze 09:08 - Apr 16 with 22635 viewssdm1508

I was just wondering what people's thoughts are on him since he moved to palace. Do you think he has improved as a player and if so what areas of his game have got better since he was with us or having better players around him helped? I mean having better players around him allows for more things to actually come off for him. He might have tried something with us and the players couldn't react etc

I was watching him in a game the other night and it just seems to be his consistency. His base level now seems to be a notch or two up. He doesn't have to do something amazing to effect the game

Isn't it the case that if both Spurs and Arsenal made exactly the same offer it would up to Eze to decide?

In which case, if wages were also the same, he'd choose Arsenal.

Loads of ifs, but I hope he does go there anyway, am sure he'd be thrilled.

If the opportunity is genuinely there, he has to go to Arsenal and back himself to make that wide left position his own. Him on the left and Saka on the right would be electric and should be England’s double act too.

At Arsenal he’ll play in the Champions League, he will be fighting for the Premier League title, he’ll win more trophies…for his career, he has to give it a go.

I actually think Arsenal will win the league if he goes to them. Him, Odegaard, and Saka is borderline unplayable.

Doesn't matter who triggers a release clause, it's ultimately up to the player to decide if they want to move or not, and he can run his contract down if he so chooses.

If he were 'required' to move against his wishes merely because the clause was activated, it would be tantamount to 'forced labour'.

Too many players that like the ball played into feet for me, not much running beyond and stretching the back line . I think a Rashford or someone else with pace playing left would be better for Arsenal personally. Like us, they seriously lack pace which is probably why Martinelli played so much - their equivalent of Paul Smyth. Don’t get me wrong ,I think he’d do every well at Arsenal, just not sure that’s the player they need to push on and win the league.

I'm talking about whether he 'chooses' Arsenal over Spurs - all about choice see?

Personally I don't see it, Liverpool just won the league by 10 points and are heavily strengthening. I also don't expect City to have another bad season.

Hopefully, as he has just got married, he will need the extra cash.

If he wants to win more trophies then he’d be better off staying at Palace than going to Arsenal!😂

Eze to Arsenal looking like a done deal, loads of outlets reporting it now. Good move for him, and us.

Not sure - at Spurs I think he'd be the main man.

But then also, he'd be at Spurs...

that position gave Kane's missus the perfect excuse to put the trophy cabinet in the garage. It'd be down the dump if he'd stayed

What I wasn't seeing in your post, was his freedom to choose neither. Capeesh?

So if he is finally going to be sold, will we splash the cash later this window.

Centre forward, centre mid and left back for me would be where I would spend. If its all sp*nked on one player. New £10 million centre forward....

Pre-nup right away before and deal is signed .
Arsenal still are lacking in strikers IMO so even with Eze and Saka they will still finish behind Pool and City I suspect.
I know we talked about the waste of space the club cup competition in the US is but that City team that kicked the crap out of Juventus last night seem pretty dangerous to me.
No KDB or Grealish or a couple of other war horses but it seems like they have re tooled pretty well.
Eze keeps saving us we promise this will be the last time

I am sure there's a certain satisfaction that the first club to release him as a teenager are now paying £68m to get him back!
