Eze 09:08 - Apr 16 with 47620 views | sdm1508 | I was just wondering what people's thoughts are on him since he moved to palace. Do you think he has improved as a player and if so what areas of his game have got better since he was with us or having better players around him helped? I mean having better players around him allows for more things to actually come off for him. He might have tried something with us and the players couldn't react etc I was watching him in a game the other night and it just seems to be his consistency. His base level now seems to be a notch or two up. He doesn't have to do something amazing to effect the game

Like many of us, I still love Eze and this interview only makes me love him all the more. He's such an engaging person because he's thoughtful, humble yet supremely talented. I can't remember any QPR player who has moved on that I wanted to follow as I do with Eze. |
Totally agree, so pleased he has done so well and that QPR gave him that chance, where others failed to take a gamble. It was a pleasure watching him play at LR in those 3 seasons until he left in 2020. Probably his best moment in a QPR shirt was that away goal at Stoke on the opening game of the 2019/20 season, it was fantastic.
Eze on 19:24 - May 16 with 4836 views | Loft1979 | https://www.transfermarkt.com/eberechi-eze/profil/spieler/479999 We always laud the virtues of Stan Bowles, and many other past Hoops. Ebs deserves his pedestal for what he did as a Hoop and what he has meant after. He definitely evokes nothing but pride. If the timing were right I have no doubt that ala Adel, he would have inspired us to promotion.

Eze on 07:40 - Jun 23 with 3906 views | dmm | I'm keeping an eye on Eze rumours. At the moment it would appear Spurs are the most likely to make a move for him. Thomas Frank is a fan: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-transfer-eze-liv Clubs said to have looked at him such as Arsenal, Bayern and Manu, seem to have prioritised other players but it's still early in the transfer window so that could change. Whichever club it might be, I can't help feel Eze must move this summer for his own sake, and for ours.

I have a nagging doubt that unfortunately he is likely to remain a Palace player for a great majority of his career. If he keeps doing well for England and getting opportunities then that could change, but I think he is just not quite at the level or influential enough to get a consistent opportunity at a so called bigger club An intelligent and thoughtful man also, sometimes a rarity in the world of football and the word to describe his style of play is sublime. Seems to glide across the pitch One of those players that makes the game look easy and that he is not trying. Seems to always have more time than others too. Silky footballer. Please come back to the loft at the end of your career sir. You would be welcomed as a returning hero - no doubt...

I share your concern mate. However, his form in the later part of last season was exceptional, which gives me hope that someone will hit that release clause and he will be up for the move. There is still a question mark about his game off the ball but it continues to improve; I even saw him make a tackle for England recently. Spurs would be great, new manager, champions league and a premier league campaign that is almost certain to be better than last season. They need to build a better squad for those challenges and Eze would be a bargain if £65 million is the figure.

I think Palace will only sell one of Eze or Guehi and as the latter is in the final year of his contract then it is more likely he will be sold. Financially I doubt Palace need to sell both. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It must be that if the £68m release clause in Eze's contract is reached, then the transfer can go ahead regardless. What's the point of that clause if that were not so?

Yes, he lives not far from me in Warlingham. Far enough for my house to be worth a small fraction of his though!

The thing is he is regularly playing for England now and players talk to each other. I think he will move on and 65 mill for a player of his quality is a snip.

Spurs are a much bigger club and get Champions League football: would also expect Thomas Frank to get them into the top 6 next season so it’s a step up.

Yes, of course. Tottenham are a huge club with a huge profile in a huge stadium. Palace may have won the FA Cup but they don't match any of that. It's now or never for Eze, I feel. He knows he is one more injury at his age away from never getting that move, surely. I think only Palace stopping it from happening will prevent us from getting that windfall at last.

I'll be happy to just get the money so we can shut up about the f**king guy. We're like a teenager fawning over an ex-girlfriend. It's bullshit. Just give us the cash and crack on. As long as he doesn't play for Chelsea or Liverpool, I'm not arsed.

Eze on 16:49 - Jun 24 with 1364 views | dmm | Apparently, Spurs would want to pay the fee in installments which, I believe, isn't unusual. Palace seem to be happy with that. If it happened, would that mean the sell on fee due would be paid to us in instalments? I guess it would come down to whatever is in the agreement when we sold Eze to Palace.
