Eze 09:08 - Apr 16 with 11239 views | sdm1508 | I was just wondering what people's thoughts are on him since he moved to palace. Do you think he has improved as a player and if so what areas of his game have got better since he was with us or having better players around him helped? I mean having better players around him allows for more things to actually come off for him. He might have tried something with us and the players couldn't react etc I was watching him in a game the other night and it just seems to be his consistency. His base level now seems to be a notch or two up. He doesn't have to do something amazing to effect the game

Agreed, possibly some information within the story has been misconstrued, Eze certainly well paid but can’t have 20M spare at this stage of his career.
Eze on 21:17 - May 11 with 4161 views | robith | I was at Spurs today cos I've recently moved to the area and a mate is a ST holder. Ebs comfortably the best player on the pitch. Stopped myself going to applaud him when he came to our side for a corner, remembering he's not their ex player, and the last thing I wanted to do was accidentally start a beef and get my mate barred from going to Bilbao lol

They chose to spend their money that transfer window on Reguilón and Højbjerg (both out on loan).

David Pleat sat behind me on a long flight a few years ago. Lovely man. We did not speak of Eze.

Eze on 15:19 - May 12 with 3176 views | dsw2509 | I think he is now at the stage where any imposter syndrome has worn off. It looks to me like he is really hitting his straps now. Good shout whoever said he could replace KDB at Man City. I think he could. Whether that would be a wise move for him is another matter. I think Tottenham should break the bank to get him. And Glasner as well.
Eze on 15:25 - May 12 with 3139 views | eastside_r | I have been thinking about this. It’s probably best for us that he plays a blinder in the cup final but is still on the losing side. If Palace win might they be tempted to keep hold of him and he wants to stay to play with them in Europe. I’m hoping for 4-3 to City, with an Eze hatrick.

Eze on 18:31 - May 12 with 2774 views | LazyFan | In the top ten for assists in the Prem, rumour is that the release clause of £70m kicks in whenever the Window opens and closes one week before the window. I think Manure will buy him as they are forced to. That's £14m to us if they are forced to sell, which means we won't have to sell anyone and also can buy that mythical saviour CF. It could even be Edwards for £4m. Meanwhile, back on planet Earth!

I could be wrong, but do QPR get any money if he helps Palace win a major trophy as part of the add ons? I want him to play a blinder and win the cup, then watch clubs home and abroad bid to buy him.

I do wonder if European clubs are watching him. Given the purchase of Olise I am guessing they also track Eze as well. He certainly has totally gone up another level in the last half of the season with Palace this year.

Looked up the source of this and it’s pure clickbait nonsense. Headline is “Eze sends goodbye message as Crystal Palace exit confirmed” - it’s only halfway down the article that you find out the “exit” in question is in fact Joel Ward confirming he’s leaving Palace at the end of the season, which Eze’s then posted about on Instagram.

I saw that. Never ever believe a headline. Click. Job done. I regularly go for a swim and sauna after work and three Spurs fans were in the sauna and said to them there were rumours today about Eze going to Spurs but I said to them that I hope he doesn't go there as it would be a step down. I don't think my comment went down very well with one of these rather large gentlemen !!! 😂 Getting a bit brave in my older years !!! Brave or stupid !!!

That one caught me out as well. I should have known better as those clickbait sites regularly do that. I need to learn to ignore them!

These clickbait sites are rotten, we should ignore as more clicks means more £ for them. I use newsnow to follow QPR updates and you can filter out all of those sites. The downside? You're left with barely anything. With the sh1tty lack of comms from the club (bar the Dev squad), the only QPR stuff that comes up is WLS and articles from this site! #commsvoid

Eze on 17:35 - May 16 with 688 views | dmm | Here is the full BBC interview that the above article was based on https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0l9x30z/the-fa-cup-202425-ezes-journey-fr It's only 14 mins and well worth watching. Like many of us, I still love Eze and this interview only makes me love him all the more. He's such an engaging person because he's thoughtful, humble yet supremely talented. I can't remember any QPR player who has moved on that I wanted to follow as I do with Eze.
