All QPR managers have bad runs: some can turn them around and others can’t. Both Holloway and Warburton managed to do so, even McLaren initially recovered from a terrible start to a season before succumbing to another bad run in the end. Cifuentes wasn’t as unique as you claim.
Looking forward to seeing you moaning on here about the new head coach in August if he doesn’t hit the ground running: luckily most other supporters will be more understanding and patient. |
thing is now and prob something the golden child hasnt quote worked out is the manager was popular even during those bad winless runs fans still chanted his name , hes been made a scape goat it seems by the board due to probably clash of personalities , thats if goldeballs actually has one, when the the bad run starts and i honest dont belive we will start the season well for various reasons , the fans are likely to turn on goldenballs and will not pass go.
not sure how he will take that as he comes across as somebody whos never faced critiscism in his fairly small working career so far.

Nourry's position will be untenable if this all goes south
We had a competent manager in place but due to ego's who refuse to put the club first they have put another unnecessary risk into what was always going to be a very difficult summer
The club and especially Nourry and Hoos need this to work . I'm crossing everything it does and Dunne resigning does give me a flicker of hope but we desperately need to find 3 teams worse than us as at the moment I fear for us |
I like to think Dunne and the Club got this done between themselves as its been ongoing for many months and the Sheff Utd/Wilder thing went wrong.
But do you think the new manager, although not in the building yet, (maybe by Zoom as the tech is there for Ben Williams job) had anything to do with him resigning?
