Okay, I'm going to bite... is Richards finally getting going??
Anyone else thinking that the penny may have dropped for Taylor...
I mean, the odds are stacked against him but physically he even looks like a footballer again, and he seems to be invovled in training.
We don't know anything about the off-field antics, so would be great to see that its all behind him (personally as well as professionally) but also as he is a local lad as well it would be great to see him fulfil the promise he must have shown for Citeh and Brighton to have taken him on.
I know, what must I be drinking to post the above but still.

Get your head down, work hard, if you get injured, recover and then work hard again.
You will be rewarded with a new contract, evidence of a point in case, Larkeche.
I am just totally guessing here but ...
Richards' return will be faked into the DS so QPR do not get sued. Then he may play well all he likes, but he will never make it into the first team.
Then in Jan we shall try and give him away, failing that at the start of Feb we shall offer mutual consent buy out, trying to save what little we can, but he will probably reject that and then we shall move him out of the DS totally as even if he sued then it would be only for the remaining wages we are paying anyway so, it would end up costing him more in lawyer fees. And also, no club would touch him if he did that.
The only way we could move him on in February is if his agent fools him into thinking he can get another long-term deal somewhere else with a small end-of-season stint at, say, Doncaster, for example. The agent receives a signing-on fee from Doncaster. Richards thinks he will secure a new contract, but he does not. However, his agent has fooled him and secured one last payday for him, and then it is Hong Kong that beckons!
So, if he moves in Feb, it will be if the agent can get another payday. If not, then we know not even a dodgy agent can shift him.
It could be fun watching the lesser-spotted Richards turn out for the DS, though. You know, like watching out for a rare bird that only appears once every four years or so. |  |

If the greatest comeback since Lazarus is happening, then what position does he play?
I ask because I don't know, but if for example he's a CM, I think his historical unreliability would not stop me going out to buy in cover for that area.
I'm afraid it's probably too little, too late. At best, his people have got something in to his noggins and he wants a year in the stiffs so his agent can try manufacture something in the next two windows. But let's say he has got his head straight, do the Rangers really have any confidence that it's permanent and his errant ways are behind him? |  |

No, we should play him, but only in friendlies and DS. Not only to shop him around, but also to show youngsters and others that there is always a way forward.
This means, hopefully, they will stay. "Look, we support young players, look how we even supported Richards?".
When young players like Poku come here, this is what they say, and we can see that our club can evidence it.
As, stated before, play him in the DS, shop him and then if no one comes in by Feb, see if we can bargain him out. | |

His very presence is disruptive. What do you think the team leaders like Cook think of him and his being in the dressing room? What do you think having a player whose commitment has been zero for
3 years, showing he couldn't give a fk about QPR, Cambridge or whoever whilst milking an excellent living off them suddenly be around the place? Think of that no budget year when Ainsworth started the season in charge, Richards was eating up a nice pay packet and wasn't remotely interested in helping out.
I thought we of all clubs, after the Fernandes years, have learnt the vital nature of having the right sort.
Have you lot not listened to the likes of Joel Lynch on his time here. Forgotten Laird and Tyler Roberts already? Losing the image/reputation for being known as a club where you can come and take the p*ss is really important for us. I mean this fella makes Boswinga look like f*ckin Clint Hill.
We're trying to build a team, a squad and a future plan. A football player who refuses to play football for 3 years shouldn't be anywhere near that. And he certainly shouldn't be taking minutes, even pre season, away from an Alfie Tuck etc etc.

Not sure what the legal situation is though. The PFA are notoriously litigious and I can imagine if we don't let him train we could be sued for hurty feels. Knowing our luck anyway! |  | | |
