Clearly this is our year....

Well likely half the team that won the Premier League Cup will be involved here, so the cup pedigree is there !!!

Probably as Plymouth also stated they likely to field a second team, this could be seen as no more than a preseason friendly...

I have no idea as to the result, performance or team, but am not too hopeful.

Saying that Plymouth have lost almost all their top players, but its a cup game

Random from me.

Plymouth 2 QPR 2
We progress 3- 1 on penalties (Chloe Kelly strikes the winner)

Is this the match thread? Heard Plymouth already under a little pressure from getting dismantled in their first 2 and will go strong tonight. Valiant 2-1 defeat for our kids but one or 2 leaving us wanting to see them more involved

If it’s the official match thread - just checking in with two travelling up from mid-Cornwall to join the 800+ horde!
That’s twice in a calendar year. This is becoming a habit again 🤣🤣

I can barely contain my indifference.
Like to see us win of course.

Want a win but that team looks absolute crap. Let's hope Plymouth go weak. Feel sorry for those who made the trip.

Really looking forward to seeing Wilke and Smith. I thought Wilke looked very good in the PL Cup Final. Disappointed Tuck not ahead of EDB. No Akindileni.

Apparently this is the youngest QPR team ever to start in a competitive game. Any statos that can confirm this?

So essentially not a single first choice player in the starting 11. That must be a first even for us.

I just don't get why they're doing this. Hopefully Stephan will explain in his post match interview but I can't help feel Nourry is behind it.

By all accounts the Plymouth team has a lot of their youngsters in their squad.

That to me suggest we have injuries to key players and we are not going to risk anyone else in a league Cup game.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Don’t know what we’re worried about . Quality and experience on the bench In abundance if we go a couple down . 😳

Not even a token sprinkling of senior players. I really do not approve of this.

Vale LB?

I know we always throw 'team of kids' into chat about these kind of games, but this really is that! Good for them I reckon, we promised them opportunities and this is a game that matters!

Well that's that then. At least (positive) there is no pretence or obfuscation by the club at all. This is a serious pre-season training session in every way.

Accordingly, I trust our CEO will be issuing a form of percentage refund to the 950 Rs fans in the next 24hrs.

Harsh AF on Nardi IMO. Fine if we think he hasn't got a future here, but don't send him babysitting as the only full senior player. That's a bit disrespectful

Worryingly I Agree ! That team isn’t us fking off the cup (well it is I suppose) that’s a case of not playing the few fit players we have just incase , not even on the bench

Nourry was very clear and honest with us last week. He doesn’t pick the team. It is down to the coach. Stephan must have watched a lot of our youth games from last year to know which players to pick for this game. Feel for our fans.

Is this first time our starting line-up shirt numbers have added up to more than 500?

I am genuinely excited by this line up. The youth will be up for it and many of them have recent experience of winning cup games. I fancy them to win in style.

After the initial shock of the line up in one mad dimension I live in that forward line could be a nightmare for the Plymouth defence.

Never knowingly right.
