Not for me. Nice guy etc but we’ve had enough, including him, non-scoring strikers as it is.

On the occasions he used his strength and physicality to get into a good position he would inevitably throw himself to the floor and whine for a foul: I bet he still does that when he plays for Bristol as he just hasn’t learnt or developed. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Would he be more suited out wide. He is a very decent athlete but a centre forward he is not. I d say see how he goes in league two, failing that the fake hoops can take him on...

Well indeed. We had Sinclair and Lyndon as the only two options. Not even any youth players that could step up then either. But then we are never happy.... Multitude of options currently and then the three behind was basically Smyth and Chair with Willock AWOL a lot of the time. Maybe we are acclimatising ourselves to 16th as opposed to 20th.. Progress...

As he is so athletic you wonder if he should retrain as a defensive midfielder. He just doesn't seem to have the football mind you need though does he. Still, we got £2.5m!

I now have this individual blocked because the lack of self awareness is astounding. Always having a go at people for the very way he conducts himself. Will problem be rude to me despite not me not being able to see it. I am probably narrow minded and not an intellectual individual capable of debating him. With this in mind and based on his previous posts, I am guessing he either politely and in 15 paragraphs called the person stupid, or questioned the mental state, in a fun jovial way How far off am I, or better still. How right am I?

I think that's the thing isn't it. Bristol apparently saw him as a raw material they could maybe craft another Semenyo out of, but he's the same player 12 months later only now with less confidence. We always said some raw abilities were there, but raw was certainly the word. Is he coachable? I kind of agree with the comment above, he's wandered in off the track team by mistake. I guess he'll have got a chunky pay rise and signing bonus for the move, was it worth it long term? I think he should have stayed where he was loved. The crowd here really got behind him, it would have given him the time and space to develop (if there is development within him) and instead he's gone somewhere for a reasonable transfer fee that comes with expectations and the crowd aren't having him. The whole time he was here these nonsense stories were being leaked about Celtic, Liverpool, Man City keeping tabs. Well, what's that done for the boy? Where is he now? Could do with a spell at somewhere like Stockport, bulling some clogger League One defenders for a good team. I said when he moved if you tell me he's playing Premier League in five years I wouldn't be surprised, if you tell me he's playing Conference South in five years I also wouldn't be surprised.

The coachable part is what I remember debating just over a year ago. I suggested that you could not coach what wasn't there. No winners here unfortunately, Sinclair's career has stalled and we won't receive our add on's from the original deal.

"Could do with a spell at somewhere like Stockport, bulling some clogger League One defenders for a good team" It's so weird, he's always been the perfect candidate for a L1 / L2 loan: all the physical attributes, but in desperate need of senior minutes to properly sharpen up his skills. Any idea why that didn't happen when he was with us? Was it the club's decision (we were obviously under-resourced up front) or his, or just a lack of interest from other teams? It's such a shame: you look at Eze going to Wycombe and Chair going to Stevenage, and the effect that had on their careers, and wonder what might have happened here if he'd done the same. Or maybe he'll still come good, who knows.

He wasn’t loved by me. I always thought he was dreadful and couldn’t understand what people saw in him. Having watched him a few times when he’s played for Brizzle he doesn’t even put himself about now. Hence the accusations by BC supporters that he’s lazy. Also, I have a strong suspicion that he’s a lot of a twát. Every time he comes up on these threads I’ve said the same thing; he’ll be back at Shamrock Rovers before you know it.
