You're a better man then me bosh. I hope he never earns another penny in football - he's taken too much of fans hard earned money already. Outside football, yeah, hope he gets it together, I suppose.

I reckon his career in football is over, unless he goes non league.
Taylor Richards gone…thank god. on 21:10 - Sep 1 with 4799 views | PeterHucker | I suspect none of us will ever find out the real story with Taylor Richards, but clearly there's been some major off-the-pitch issues. I'm just glad we've got him off the payroll and I hope he can get himself sorted out.

This exactly. I suppose some of the Eze money spent on paying up his contract, I hope he gets the help he needs, because he must have some serious demons holding him back.
Taylor Richards gone…thank god. on 22:11 - Sep 1 with 4449 views | numptydumpty | End of an error - is very apt words Error all round - for the club and for Taylor himself. Sad if as widely reported its serious mental health troubles that have kept him from playing and if so wouldnt wish that on anyone. However, also a lot of money has come his way, for not a lot and its sensible all round that the club and the player part company and whatever has stopped him from playing for ourselves, i hope he gets to a point in his life where he can achieve something and basically be himself again. Am guessing the club paid up his final year. Was strange that in first game of preseason he got an assist and a goal and played reasonably well and then we didnt see him again. Hey ho.... We all move on ...

He got injured in the calf and came off in a pre-season friendly. I suspect we did not pay it all up, probably just up to the end of January. This way, he gets released early and can find an L2 club that offers a pay-as-you-play option, which he will storm, of course, so they offer him, or someone else, a better long-term contract in L1. Upon which he will get injured again!

Taylor Richards gone…thank god. on 00:38 - Sep 2 with 3809 views | NewcastleHoop | Taylor's crime was being brought in by Mick Beale and not being very good. That's it. Most of the million football players in England aren't very good. Fair play to Brighton, they rinsed us for a League Two player. He gets pelters for his availability from people who would have complained about him being in the side if he WAS available, so he couldn't win.

I agree with the Mick Beale bit. See also Tyler Roberts another Beale alumni leaving Birmingham for Mansfield. I wonder how much Beale cost us, Rzngers and Birmingham with his 'eye for a young player'. Thank goodness he left! I do think Taylor had potential but for whatever reason don't think he'll ever harness it.

The longer it goes on, the more that 22/23 summer with Beale looks more ruinous than the infamous overspend chasing promotion the previous year.

Brighton fans thought highly of him. His time here a disaster but I’ve always thought there was more to it than ‘lazy footballer is shite’. [Post edited 2 Sep 7:46]

I think Paal (who was... fine) was the best of a horrible recruitment, and he was famously the one that was most egregiously scammed by Beale.

I mean, mental health allegations aside, the bloke didn't help himself when he did ever get on the pitch for us. I'm still in disbelief about shoelace-gate
