RIP. What a film, I loved it when I first watched it, I still love it now

Equally good in comedic and serious roles, always the mark of a great actor. Sad news.

An outraged reporter accosted people outside the premiere of Indecent Proposal.
He asked a woman if she'd sleep with someone for $1m. Her reply "I'd sleep with Robert Redford for fifty cents".

RIP Sundance

Superb film. One of my favourites.

His acting is effortless in it.

All The Presidents Men and The Sting are two of my favourite films of all time...god knows how many times i've watched them. He was so good in Out Of Africa, Butch Cassidy and Horse Whisperer. One of the greats of the silver screen no doubt.

Seems to have been around forever. Never made a bad film as far as I can recall.
Also seemed a man of integrity, no real scandals.
RIP RR.

And creator of the Sundance Film Festival of course. Great man. RIP.

Oh, and also a nod to Barefoot in the Park, with the delectable Jane Fonda, which I love - as others have said, he excelled at light comedy. Made acting seem a breeze.

Only watched The Natural last month for the first time. It's a great sports/baseball film.

A legendary actor who also seemed a nice bloke, never taking himself too seriously. Never had any cosmetic surgery, which is the sign of someone comfortable with themselves in an industry like Hollywood.

At the end of the day, despite being this good looking lad who just excelled at everything he touched, he was first and foremost, a really decent man.

Will be sadly missed. RIP
