To come off so soon into his first game back , after that length of a lay off just can’t be ‘precautionary’.
I don’t know why he’s come off so should reserve judgement up to a point .
But we are not likely to find out so I will have to make my own mind up .
Through my own experience I know you have to play through some discomfort as the body , muscles and tissues start adapting to the physicality of a real game . You get pain and discomfort all over the place . But 11 minutes is nothing , which suggests he’s got another serious problem , maybe the same problem , or a fresh injury .

Whatever it is , I do feel for him. He must be distraught .

But in the flip side , we ain’t a charity either .
He’ll be on a big wage and is useless if he can’t get himself on the pitch at all .

His serious problem is between the ears.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one's lifetime." One thing i would say is Madsen last season was called out by loads on here and insulted by many but he turned up every game and put himself out there and some were downright nasty in his direction.

Clarke Salter is out for months at a time and its like poor Jake - feel for the guy - how gutted must he be and yet the likelihood is he is on a higher salary than Madsen and am not advocating nastiness in his direction at all, but as said Madsen got pelters, but he turned up every week and currently is now performing.

Clarke Salter may well have been decent for 11 minutes, and despite supposedly being a high earner, gets the boo boys sympathy.

Find the logic here, very weird !!!

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Loads of guesswork here. And conclusions being jumped to.

Fair enough with his record I guess. And the club still being cagey on injuries (remember when Poku was going to be back for the Wrexham game? That was good news wasn't it?) which makes people paranoid and breeds speculation.

While the news on WLS yesterday is good, I have to say I am concerned about him lasting 11 minutes and then when they scan him there's nothing wrong with him. I know that's me filing a cloud for the silver lining but still, 11 minutes and it turns out he's fine?

I keep hoping JCS will "do a Richard Dunne". He hadn't played for a year due to injury when he came to us, but he ended up doing a good job .

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Maybe he felt something and panicked? Sorry if this has already been suggested, I haven't read the whole thread. He will be understandably nervous. Arm round the shoulder, have another go, build up the confidence. It could all still be okay...

Poll: Who is your player of the season?

I understand the sentiment but not a fair comparison. Richard Dunne had had a stellar career before he joined QPR at the ripe old footballing age of 33. JCS has been plagued by injuries throughout his.

More than likely he'll be ready in the new year when it's time to earn a new contract.

I thought Keegan tried to sack him at Man City because he was a p155 head and the PFA had to get involved. Apparently he cut the booze out and that coincided with an upturn in form

Didn’t he win three PotYs while on the piss and with a build like Andre the Giant?

Makes you think what he could have been like if he'd given it 100%
Still he wasn't alone. Arsenal were notorious for their Tuesday club, whilst being pretty decent.
Although they got a lot better after Wenger joined and phased it all out
