Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc?
For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te?
Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull.

As said as nauseum, they have not been making big losses because they’re printing money in sponsorships. United were paying them £10m a year in L2 for shirt sponsorship which will have had uplifts since. They’ll be spending a fortune this summer once again. |

United Airlines is not linked to the ownership of the club, so this is a deal with a 3rd party. What United pays is presumably related to what they believe is the publicity they receive. |  | | |

Maybe they only have to demonstrate that more than one company wanted to sponsor them?
I guess that is what market value means isn't it, when something is worth what someone is willing to pay?

Obviously no longer a championship side and also bereft of a manager since Muslic abdicated behind the berlin wall to Schalke, but Plymouth seem to be getting all their signings in pretty damn quick. They've also brought in a couple of additions behind the scenes after Muslic was very vocal about the set up. Have to say that I don't remember their latest acquisition from Hertha being at QPR .....
