With Field and Paal injured, and we are 90% safe, there can be some change in formation:
3-4-3
Nardi in goal
3 CBs Morrison Edwards Fox
2CM Varane Colback
2 Wingbacks Smyth Saito
The best attacking defender Jimmy Dunne as the striker with Bennie and Madsen behind him.
(or if you still don’t trust Madsen, Dembele instead)

This formation allows the shift to 4-2-3-1 when required :
Nardi
Dunne Morrison Edwards Fox
Varane Colback
Smyth Madsen Saito
Bennie

Then we have Kolli, Dembele, Yang, Morgan and Sutton on the bench.

think it will be Fox in for Paal, Saito for Madsen and Anderson in for Field
Rest of the team likely to be the same but subs will be important with such a quick turnaround

I'd like to see the Brazilian lad get a go assuming we're safe. Play Smyth on the Left to give him some cover.

After last night, we will need fresh legs where possible. Kolli up front to start if he can play 45 -55 minutes. Bennie to replace him.
Saito on the left in front of Fox, maybe the Brazilian lad on the bench.

Has anyone actually seen Esquerdinha play? Is he any good? Can he step up into the squad next season?

He's had 4 games for the DS; Is this a serious suggestion?

Yes.

He’s also played a dozen games in the Brazilian top flight and Copa Libatadores, unless of course you think Bristol City are a scarier proposition than that?

He’s 19 not 16.

Yet again James of the Dunne Dynasty suggested as axillary striker.

I just don't get it.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I’m still recovering from Danny Shittu playing centre forward against Leeds.

He has definitely looked good enough to be motm in both recent Dev team games. Technically good, decent tackler and a real threat going forward.

After Field had gone off the pitch QPR+ had him in focus walking along the sideline trying different movements, he jumped a little and winced when he landed, then seemed to realise he couldn't play on and walked away. It looked very clear he had a problem with one leg probably his ankle, as well as concussion as reported. He was holding his ankle when lying on the pitch too.

I saw him on the tiger feet walk, he was with other development squad members walking right in front of me, he looked very lightweight, looks younger than Kieran Morgan. think he's a season or two away from 1st team action plus he doesnt speak any English.

Hope my assumption is totally wrong

captains fantastic

I'd go full Redknob on this and that it is a bonus match... we will be knackered after Wednesday.... plus if we lose we only drop one place if Preston get a result... plus gifting Brizzle the 3 points will mean they could pull further away from Middlesbrough and WBA

I'd play me, jade the cat, the kit boy, the kit man is half decent, the guy who sits behind me, he thinks he is better than our whole team put together, the 3rd ball boy from the left, 2nd steward in the SA stand, the big lad we need some height and Madsen....

Think we could scrap that point we need... if we keep it tight ....beside we have Swansea over Easter will get the points we need off them

Bennie likely to play and Saito also returning.

Sure Kolli will get some minutes and would love to see an appearance from Emerson Sutton.

Think we are safe anyhow but another point and would say no way is the third place team from the bottom going to accumulate 51 points..

This has been said a few times but for some reason is being ignored . He was in a lot of pain with his ankle on the touch line. He couldn’t put any pressure down at all .So add this to the concussion protocol they have to take now , I don’t even think he’s allowed to play tomorrow .

GK - Nardi
RB - Dunne
CB - Morrison
CB - Edwards
LB - Fox
CM - Varane
CM - Colback
AM - Morgan
LW - Saito
RW - Yang
CF - Kolli

This assumes no Field, concussion and all that. Also assumes no Paal. Best team to win the game with a loaded midfield, quality wide players and hopefully Kolli fit enough to play.
