Quite on brand though | | | |
The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 17:03 - Jun 27 with 2883 views | derbyhoop | Once Dunne re-signed, my main concerns were lack of CBs who stay fit and coverage at RB. Mbengue and Adamson have eliminated those concerns. We could try to strengthen elsewhere. If funds permit, which I doubt. Although we have a surfeit of midfielders, if Colback goes, I'm not convinced anybody covers Varane/Field, effectively.

Guess we’d have to sell if they came in.

Feels to me the squad still lack a bit of balance But I would suppose we will get a couple of loans in yet? We look short at starting Left Back, a passing center midfielder and of course a 20 goal man | | | | Login to get fewer ads

1. Which is why the club made a huge effort to hang on to Paal. 2. Has Madsen turned into a tough tackling, all energy player? 3. Kelman got 21 League goals last season. If you want something better, have you got a spare £15m down the back of the sofa? Sorry for the sarcasm, but be realistic about our budget and what we can afford.

The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 19:48 - Jun 27 with 2206 views | rbee | Next season we should really build our team around Kelman, play to his strengths, give him every chance to succeed. We won't do this so hopefully a nice bid or two will come in.

The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 12:02 - Jun 28 with 767 views | CateLeBonR | Good news about Poku and Iope we can sign Mothersille from Posh too, who I really like the look of. Would be competition for Morgan but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. I still think we could do with another player in the base of midfield, Hayden would do I guess but I imagine he’s on quite expensive wages and injury prone.

Mothersille is that I think. Can dribble and pass well although I don’t know what his tackling is like. He seemed to hook up well with Poku judging by the video I was watching earlier.

Excited by the prospect of signing Mothersille along with Poku - effectively nabbing Posh's outstanding wingers from last L1 season Both pacey and competition for Chair and Smyth
The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 12:29 - Jun 28 with 562 views | dmm | Mothersille is a striker or forward playing mainly on the left. He's never played a midfield role and would not be competition for Morgan.

Sarcasms fine , we don’t have to agree. I dont rate Larkceche or Madsen at all personally. Was wishful thinking about the 20 goal man but its an opinion board to talk shite after all, eh?

Well, would you be happy with Larkeche as first choice LB for the season?

I'd hope we'd be looking to do more than add competition for Smyth as opposed to, hopefully, looking to Smyth to provide competition for the new free-scoring speedy trickster about to tear the Championship LBs a second one.

Larkeche wasn't that convincing defensively, but he's just had a season long loan at Dundee, where all the reports indicate he did well. Until the last few games, I'd agree about Madsen. But he did seem more involved and competitive, while not losing his obvious passing ability. If both have improved as much as I hope, I don't think we need anybody else for those 2 slots. I'd go so far as to suggest next week's news will be about departures.

On your last point, I think Mbengue can play that role too. Just based on what he said in his interview. But I wouldn’t mind have Colback on reduced wages as cover there.
