My ITK sources tell me Nourry is amenable to Colback staying but taking him to Spain & France will result in a 4-figure sum for sun cream so he’s happy for the negotiations to drag on.

Nah, he’s spent his extended summer having a Tropic Thunder style pigment transfusion.

I would guess both Fox and Colback offerred new deals, but on lower wages, and they are testing the waters elsewhere. They would have to hope a Stoke of BCFC comes in with a silly offer for a 1-year deal as cover for some position, but otherwise I'm guessing neither will get a (much) better deal elsewhere than what we probably offer. Both had bitpart roles last season and wrong side of 30, so long-term and/or big money moves not very likely for either.

Good move for him - Gil Vicente's first album was unbelievable
The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 10:18 - Jul 10 with 6252 views | dmm | I expect/assume/hope/pray the club has options lined up if Colback doesn't decide to stay. An extra CB, and so Fox, is not so essential. [Post edited 10 Jul 10:34]

Cos we're selling the others? Maybe there's an offer coming in for Nardi?

Or Walsh going out on loan? In which case, Salamon isn't considered good enough as back up. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I hope he is the model for the Salamon pink shirts….
| Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

That's outrageous. It's not salmon pink. It's baby pink.

Excited by this - I hope he can continue to rise. Signing a talented young player with lots of potential through the door - excellent.
The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 13:34 - Jul 11 with 4570 views | dmm | We seem to be well stocked with promising young CBs. I wonder if Smith or Akindileni will be drafted in to the senior squad should Fox refuse a new contract.

Tylon the Pylon. His barnet is incredible, it's like Sideshow Bob meets the Jackson 5 in their early days. I just hope the squad photo has him next to Kolli and Adamson.

Re. Nardi, I just saw this. I am *not* saying there is any truth in it and I would prefer us to keep hold of him.

Not really any controversy in him not being first choice anymore, it's never a given. For me, he never controlled his box enough. Wether Walsh is up to it, we'll find out, but I can't say I'm surprised.

Well I'm probably naive or something but I always thought that they were competing against each other and would be picked on their form and merits. No need to flat out tell one of them that they are basically second choice. Just pick the other one every week if that's what you want to do. I guess it could be an attempt to force him to leave the club - have we got too many goalkeepers now? In any event there has to be a better way of doing that. Presumably, we'll still be paying Nardi the same but we've now destroyed his incentive.
