Perhaps Mbengue can play at LB but he's only ever done it once. Same with playing as a DCM, only once.
A LB loan would make sense if the coaches feel Larkeche isn't good enough to start and Esquerdinha isn't ready for first team football. However, I'd have thought they'd have given it a bit more time to assess these two before bringing in a new player.

Yeah I’m with you on this. Would definitely like a starting left back. But as you say, maybe we can use pre season to assess the other 2. Then get a loan in for start of the season.
We do need cover for Field and Varane, as they will both be suspended at some point. Someone in Colback mold makes sense.

We definitely need another CM as I think it's safe to assume Colback is going. I'd like to see a box to box player who can split defences with the ball and drive us forward. We've not had one of those for a long time.

Madden is the passing centre midfielder. How much will you pay for a 20 goal man?
I don’t rate Madsen, he’ll need a more than a few end of season dead rubbers to make me forget his performances at home to Boro et al! . He’s a player i’d see if you can get money back on somehow and upgrade
As for 20 goal man , i was kind of joking but those transformational signings are out there . coventry paid 700k for Gyokeres, Swansea paid 1m for Piroe

If we have that kind of scouts, hopefully

Mbengue was 2 days ago mate, you might be on Internet Explorer!
Or getting your flags mixed up. Ghana’s is green yellow red from top to bottom. Senegal’s is green yellow red from right to left. Black star on Ghana’s (hence national team’s nickname) Green star on Senegal’s. To complete the set now we need a Malian …. green yellow red right to left no star. Or a zoom lolly red yellow green top to bottom.

Mothersille is a striker or forward playing mainly on the left. He's never played a midfield role and would not be competition for Morgan.
Fair enough. I admit I don't know much about him but judging by this he spends a lot of time in the middle of midfield.
*Edit. Watching with fresh eyes now. He does look more of a left sided forward but seems to drop very deep which is maybe how he finds so much space. Anyway, I like him

It's hard to say whether reports that Championship clubs are looking at Kelman are true or not but there have been quite a few and I guess there's no smoke without fire. I hope we keep him for all the reasons we've batted around but I do wonder how much it would take for us to accept an offer.

If his agent has anything about him he will have been smashing the phones trying to drum up a move for him.

Having been top scorer in L1 last season it ought to be decent, especially if a few Clubs are really interested.

Agree. But most are saying we need a new striker. If Kelman stays he has to be number 1 no?
As I said at the end of last season I’d tell him he’s got the first 15 games regardless and let’s see. The way our fixtures have fallen as well that could be a great opportunity for us and him. But I do get if he’s not willing to extend his contract you try get some money now.

That’s what I’d do too. Firstly because he’s earnt it but also, (without a sale or Eze money), not sure I want us spending much more this summer. But if we go with that option, can we get another striker in? You’re basically saying Kelman is 1 and Frey is 2, Celar 3. And Kohli in reserve.

Agree with all of that. However, if we sold him to drum up some money to try and buy a lower league 23 year old striker who'd scored 27 goals last season that would be just about the most QPR thing ever.

Be frustrating having invested substantial time and money into Kelman if we were to lose him now because of his contract.
If I was him I would tell us to do one Never given a chance here at all and when he was he would be thrown over to the wing
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

If we know that he won’t extend his contract he’s got to be sold now. Currently, his stock is very high and we don’t really know if he’s on a Sheron/Washington hot streak. If he doesn’t commit and he has 15 games and he does well, we’ll just be building him up for a better club at the end of the season.
