Sunderland Match Thread on 15:29 - May 2 with 3319 views | derbyhoop | Despite the club PR, including interviews with Xavi Calm and Kevin Bestsey, I really can't see our lot being up for this, after Marti's fall from grace. I'd like to be wrong but I can't see beyond a limp defeat. It may be more interesting listening to the fans to hear what they are singing.

The crowds at.games have been massively in favour of Cifuentes. More so than nearly all managers in the last ten years or so. Social media crowd.have been pretty harsh on Marti. It's an extremely disappointing last week of the season all round tbh. Hope the guys that go out onto the field go out to have fun, play a game of football and all aim to put in a performance It could be the last time, half the squad will actually pull on a Rangers shirt but then this massive turnover of players consistently is part of football today. Hopefully they just remember to play their best game of football and hopefully pinch a result too. That's why we all go in essence Most of us could not care less what's going on in the boardroom.and beyond if the team is doing the business out on the pitch Just play football for us Rangers Boys and try to make us all have good memories for the next season ahead !!! Nice try ND. You'd love to think they'd come out and show the fans that they have pride in the club and the badge. If all had been well I would have predicted an away win because we tend to do that away last game of the season. I guess it really comes down to how motivated the players really are after what's happened. Is the idea of matching last season's point tally of any motivation? Probably not but you'd like to think so. A creditable draw would be fine. A heavy defeat would be a slap in the face for the fans traveling to the match, who are probably leaving around... er... now, to get there in time. There's only one thing for it and that is a motivational speech before the match from Andy Sinton. Worked last season.

As the final whistle parps, the mauled Mackems slope disconsolately off the pitch, the home support long since having departed. Sunderland Match Thread on 00:34 - May 3 with 2419 views | CLAREMAN1995 | I spent some very enjoyable evenings watchin the Netflix doc about Sunderland as they slipped down 2 divisions happy in the knowledge QPR were way better that that fiasco. Now it appears we are actually worse after this week ( not relegated of course) but the gap between them and us miles wide. They are in with a good chance of going up or at least another Wembley date while we run off the only manager in years to unite our fanbase and provide some light at the end of a darl tunnel . Impossible to predict this result but Sunderland will be licking their chops to get at us and fire up their promotion challenge while we slink off for the summer
Sunderland Match Thread on 05:58 - May 3 with 2201 views | Hoopsie | A win if the players step up and play for the departed manager A loss will just prove that the players checked out. We shouldn’t have lost 5-0 at home in the last home game of the season when the manager at that moment needed a win, mighty Burnley notwithstanding
