Isn't there talk about spending £4m on Ronnie Edwards on another thread? Can hardly plead poverty this year, with some of the money we've thrown about. It's certainly not parachute/Birmingham/Wrexham levels, but we've definitely thrown a few quid about this summer. |  | | |

I don't think it's happening, though. I was mostly joking about how parachute payment clubs etc. can easily drop £7m on a CB, which we clearly can't / shouldn't.

One thing to note was a particular Charlie Kelman starting and doing so well that BBC Sport gave him a 4.5 out of 10.

I'm still surprised no bottom half premier league clubs went in for him if, maybe a big if, he really did have a £1.2m release clause for top flight clubs.
Probably one of those players too good for the championship but not good enough for the prem but still would've been a useful squad player or for rebuilding once relegated, or sold on for profit.

The worrying thing is will our bloke have our lot fired up, if we go all passive like we tend to after about 20 mins at home, Jones and his lot will have a field day. Stephan may just be a bit too nice for the Championship and English football in general and if the team does not go at it on Saturday maybe more trouble ahead. Got to send the team out to win the game not to try and not lose, been a problem at home for a long while now and that is why Loftus Road has been seen as a bit soft, when it used to be a hard place to come for a win. |  | | |
