The worrying thing is will our bloke have our lot fired up, if we go all passive like we tend to after about 20 mins at home, Jones and his lot will have a field day. Stephan may just be a bit too nice for the Championship and English football in general and if the team does not go at it on Saturday maybe more trouble ahead. Got to send the team out to win the game not to try and not lose, been a problem at home for a long while now and that is why Loftus Road has been seen as a bit soft, when it used to be a hard place to come for a win. |

It was me. We definitely asked about him a couple of months ago.
He had been told by Chelsea that's it. His family wanted him to stay local, in London, so we seemed a good move.

It's easier to stand out when you're surrounded by the mediocre, self-belief may be low, etc etc | |

I know it’s hardly a new phenomenon but some of the fees this summer have been even more bizarre than usual. £42m paid by Brentford for Dango Outtara, £40m for Jacob Ramsey, £55m for Kudus from West Ham. We were saying 25 years ago it was getting out of control and the bubble would surely burst but if anything it’s accelerating, if bubbles can accelerate. | | | |

Couldn’t agree more. Southampton were abysmal last season . The 2nd worst premier leauge team ever . Yet they’re raking in millions. Even they must be mystified .

We were on our knees the whole of pre-season begging the gods for the sell-on fee for an Eze transfer but at 60m if not for an injury Arsenal wouldn’t even bulge
Now these lesser know players (well at least to me) are going for 40, 50m without a blink of an eye |  |

Ipswich and Southampton hoover up players to essentially guarantee promotion....mad stuff Leicester do seem to be in trouble financially but they have a very good manager! so will be OK. One place up for grabs for EPL - let them have it but the championship as spectacle has been ruined by the EPL. mad stuff. | | | |
