Castellon Friendly on 10:49 - Jul 12 with 2490 views | kensalriser | That’s it. Just stuck a ton on Rangers to go down before Christmas. Stephan should be sacked at half time and Nourry can fck right off too along with the rest of them responsible for this. What rotters.

Castellon Friendly on 10:49 - Jul 12 with 2493 views | loneranger1 | Preseason friendly etc etc but no leadership whatsoever either - the only one I can hear/see encouraging others is Smyth (!) Guess that should pick up in second half with Dunne, Cook and Chair to come on

Castellon Friendly on 10:52 - Jul 12 with 2316 views | numptydumpty | We learnt a lot there. Celar, is unlikely to be a different player Bennie is not a squad member Walsh was very nervous Not sure why we didnt play much down our left side Larkeche, Pearman Smyth not in the game.

Castellon Friendly on 10:52 - Jul 12 with 2316 views | eastside_r | Only pre-season but absolutely outclassed from the first minute. Also outfought and outran. Bit of a wake-up call after last week's stroll against Stevenage.
Castellon Friendly on 10:53 - Jul 12 with 2310 views | dmm | That half will have told Stephan a lot about the squad. Horrible to watch but very valuable in the scheme of things.
Castellon Friendly on 10:53 - Jul 12 with 2294 views | francisbowles | That was a disastrous experimental line up and will have put a large dent in the confidence of all involved. We now have to try and win the second half against what is hopefully a stronger X1 from us and a weaker one for them. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Castellon Friendly on 10:53 - Jul 12 with 2292 views | Beckenhamhoop | Big Joe Lumley vibes from Walsh who has been appalling. He was poor last season in the cup game at Cambridge I think. He’s a far inferior keeper to Nardi. Field has been very poor. He started last season poorly if I recall. If everyone is fit he’ll struggle to get in the team. Bennie is not a defender and is unfortunate to come up against the best player on the pitch. This is extremely worrying even if it is a knockabout pre season friendly.

Well it was absolutely shocking. But I also agree in part. It’s somewhere in the middle. The “positive” is that they are a decent side and it shows where are issues are for JS. Now we have time to correct them either by tactics, positional changes or recruitment. 1) We know we have full back issues. Bennie at right back is never going to work. 2) Midfield needs a Varane type player in there. 3) We need forward who does more and we need are wide players and the attacking central midfielder to keep hold of the ball. 4) Should we bin passing out from back. We just can’t do it.
Castellon Friendly on 10:55 - Jul 12 with 2168 views | Pdog | Well the gaffa has to see his new players and combos in action so that feedback early doors is actually good, it shows that half of that line-up are not good enough yet. Yes its pre-season and all about fitness but if you get ripped by a team somewhat on your level, it shows those flaws. A slap of reality well delivered.

It’s a preseason friendly with none of the usual 11 starting altogether. Rather the new manager tries out things now than wasting the first 10 games of the season. Some on here are already screaming for the manager to go… we are bizarre fan base at times
Castellon Friendly on 10:56 - Jul 12 with 2147 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Hhmmmmmmm, well that was shyte. Bennie being skinned, a right back he is not, however, Dembele doing his usual defensive work. Namely nothing. He is a problem. That central midfield area is a big, big problem. Field looks exactly as he always has, very very limited. Pearlman is a DS player, anonymous.

Castellon Friendly on 10:56 - Jul 12 with 2127 views | Malintabuk | Really can't find anything positive.. and pre season or not, there surely must be a positive. Yes it don't really matter about the result, but have your @rse handed to you in a paella dish is not what is needed That was shocking, I'm not quite sure what the plan was there.... was it to show Nourry that we have no depth, or did Stephan think this lot could compete at a professional level Walsh was not even semi pro... I have seen Sundal league keepers, having a fag on their 6 yard line be better than him I like Bennie but really where was he playing, what was he supposed to be doing Celar... just fcuk off now mate please And the rest well... thetmy were marginally better... but still poor Hopefully Castion will take that 15 off and gives us a chance...

Julien didn't tell them to go out and have a kick around, he would have expected much more than this from professional footballers. They are far more up for it. Yes it's a pre season friendly but I can never forget how Gareth's pre season form carried on in to the League. No breakdown, more like WTF.

Not quite sure the majority of us is calling for the manager to be sacked... but that was at best shocking and at worse unprofessional... You are right little matters in Pre season regarding results... but as a team you cannot be happy with that performance... it was .... well let's be generous... call it shoddy Be interesting to see what the 2nd half brings... especially up to with no Frey Kolli or Kelman....

I would say Julien would’ve asked them to operate at 75% - no more injuries trying out a few new players in different positions. I would not put Ainsworth and Julien’s coaching record in the same basket. [Post edited 12 Jul 11:03]

Castellon Friendly on 11:04 - Jul 12 with 1711 views | daveB | We looked a mess in midfield, needed a third player in there, now sure where Pearman was meant to be playing. Bennis at right back was comical. Joe Walsh's impression of Joe Lumley was superb first half Celar a passenger as usual, Field was hopeless. Only real positive was Harvey Vale and even he made several mistakes plus that it's only 4
