Ya, but that's not hard, to be fair. The central misfielders we have are all poor at it, imo.
I'm with Wilkins on this: the only way we improve central midfield is to have players who can defend and play ball. Hayden's very good at the first, I'm not so sure about the second.

This is great news. He strikes me as a player who sets himself high standards and will demand more from his team mates. Cook has done a similar job but his legs have gone so Hayden is much needed. Hopefully we can get the left back from Sheffield United too. Although he's not loved up in Sheffield, he's got a bit of experience and I'm sure will want to prove the doubters wrong. | | | |

I think there was a piece in the Athletic or NYT where he spoke about keeping himself super fit so hopefully he'll be good to go on Saturday. | | | |
