Ebanks-Landell being out is a big blow. Otherwise probably our best choice 'home' line up. Hosannah on the bench as the wing back cover after a long injury lay off, but no Gomez-Mancini.

Hogan not put a foot wrong. We have been in control and could have more than 3. Fergusons cheating on 3 minutes has taken him from being loved to abused by the fans. The third goal could have been stopped by him but I think it went under him. Karma. Mani needs to score his hatrick and come off to avoid a second yellow

Total dominance without really getting out of second gear and the luxury of giving key players a breather. Lots of impressive performances. None better than Ferguson's play acting.

Another comprehensive victory without, as you say, ever having to step up a gear. If we had to, you get the feeling we would have. Controlled and managed the squad well.
The enforced changes may be unwelcome, wait to see what McNulty says on those, but Hogan and especially Allarakhia made their mark. The latter offers so much more going forward in games like today and was a constant outlet which created space in other areas. Hopefully Berkoe is back soon though for the different challenges away from home may cause.
Earlier in the week, i said "Get to it Dale" We got to it, and can't ask for more
I even started enjoying us recycling the ball in our own half, such was the level of competence and impetus that we looked to inject at the right time
Before the game started and as Watmuff took his place between the Pearl St sticks, i thought "We've got an international-class keeper" and the confidence he's helped install into our defensive play has been crucial
Towards the end, enjoyed the cameo from Petitt and he was cajoling us to keep pressing right to the end
UTD. Great performance. Back to the top of the league where we need to stay. Lets hope Mani stays fit for the rest of the season and avoids suspensions.

Kyle Ferguson, never given a real chance at Dale was applauded when teams read out by a few sat near me and i echoed that sentiment.
Then he did that today. Mani pushed him over in the chest as 2,700+ people saw in the ground, but then chose to hold his face in red card attempt. This reminded me of a game in a Dale shirt where he feigned head injury, was treated and off for 30 seconds, during which we conceded. It’s as low an act as a player can go and got the deserving boos.
Onto Dale, it’s fair to say that 3-0 flattered Yeovil, and that was at half time.
First goal was a contender for how many passes before a goal Second was all Dave, served it on a plate Third was smart finish by East - who is full on purple patch mode.
Can we ban sponsors for giving Mani M.O.M. unless he gets a hat-trick please? Dave was simply fantastic today.

That is exactly how we should approach games like today's, go and kill it off asap.
Well done all and another 3 points nearer to that 100 target.
Excellent performance again today. If the players can keep their hunger levels high and don't let complacency creep in against percieved lesser opposition we are going to take some stopping. It was noticeable that the moment we suddenly shift up the tempo of our passing and movement the opposition can't live with us. We look a different team when we inject a bit of pace into how we play. Another positive is Ryan East, he's a different player in a more forward role and is now adding goals to his game. Gordon was also back to his best today. Smiths cameo was interesting, his movement was very good but he still looks a yard short on fitness, get him match fit and he could prove a very good signing, he was unlucky not to score.

A good assessment. I think that was about as comprehensive a performance as you can have in League football.
Yeovil were only about ten places below us in the League, yet arrived with an early plan to rattle us and knock us out of our stride by fair means or foul. Our early goal flummoxed them and we controlled the game thereafter playing the sort of football that would look more in place in the EFL.
The team deserves more home supporters turning up as periods like this are fairly rare.
The team have demonstrated that after 13 games they are the best in the league. Now they have to prove that they are the best after 46 games. One hurdle they have to still overcome is beating the better, well-drilled sides that set up to do a job on us eg: Halifax and York. (And we deserved something from both those games).
That's a challenge I imagine the Management are aware of, so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.
This is definitely the best side I've seen since the days of Mendez Laing and us attaining a top half League One finish (2017?). But, you don't win anything in October.

Was thinking the same
The side that just missed out on the L1 playoffs, 2016/17, was the best for two generations since the early 1970s
If we can build further from what we've seen today and on the majority of occasions this season, we'd have nothing to fear in the EFL. Our opponents might...

The Yeovil manager commented before the game how we’d become a very good team built over time, today was a perfect example of that. The starting XI only contained two players who weren’t here last season, but the increase in quality in those two positions (keeper and centre forward) allied to players getting better within a well established way of playing has seen us become confidently effective.
The team have looked comfortable throughout the season, as seen when seeing out wins when leading by a goal - nothing much seems to faze them or distract from how they look to control games. Gilmour has mentioned more than once about how when players arrive to add to what we have, it takes time to understand how we play and how he went through that himself. That time has seen us find ways of becoming far more effective whilst retaining the same basic structure and philosophy.
That 16/17 side was as relentlessly efficient for a significant period of time, though it took one injury (Bunney) to disrupt that. Let’s hope we don’t see history repeat itself. Interestingly, NML wasn’t featuring much from the start when we were 4th in the league just after Christmas!
This current team has a calmness, one which has similarities to the one in 09/10 which looked like they knew they’d win games before they started. However, I still want to see how they react to a sticky patch of a few games. At present that’s not a problem, because we just start winning again after each loss.
It was a pleasure to watch that Dale side today. Cool, efficient, brilliantly organised and always a man available to take a pass and move on. We saw a bit of that last season, but no way did I think Jim would have us playing so well, so often. 11 wins out of 13 is beyond remarkable. I could cite 6 out of that starting 11 today who played so well, any team in this league, and even the one above, would want them in their squads. To date, the manager, his backroom staff and the players have got something exceptional going at RAFC. Long may it continue and credit their CV's, which will always benefit from having the "promotion" word inserted. Stay here and finish the job you are more than capable of completing. UP THE DALE.

Really hope Mani Dieseruvwe stays fit and doesn't get booked/sent off too many times because he really is the difference. 2 chances in the first half and 2 goals. He's started his Dale career unbelievably - better than any player I've seen in my Dale supporting life and that includes some amazing players in Dawson,Holt,Lambert,Hogan,Murray. He really will score 40 goals this season if he plays all season - if someone came in and offered £1 million in Jan I'd turn it down because promotion is worth more - and we are getting promoted with him in the team.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
