Who says? My experience of garden leave is the opposite, you are serving your notice at home and on call. Replacement can be recruited, with my work ( large bank) you automatically went on garden leave if you were going to a competitor. Not saying that is exactly the case here but Marti’s reps did seemingly do a dance with WBA , not even a different division. All in the contract. Agree with other posters, would love the children to make up and play football in the same playground again. More chance of the large Irish kid staying if that happened.
Ok, thank you for correcting me.

Marti Cee for 3PO in the garden attendy lo and how do your marigolds foldy-o? Then Christian Nourybolds big announce Pep Gladioli. Much amuse and fall about a bit. No says Christian Nourrybolds all sincere and straight lace face with eyebrows in unison; Pep Gladioli again announce. But Christian on the alcopopilops and all tipsy was his data brace. Now jacket straight and white and cell all padded. Nighty night. Nighty night.
It doesn't matter. We could get Pep de Jurgen le McFerguson and we'd still be us. Perennial f**k ups. Cursed to fail by a cruel god who lets Liverpool win the league and lets Mick Hucknall live.
I care as much about who our new manager is as I do about who won last year's I'm a Celebrity, F**k My Whole Career.
Robert Piss. There's your new f**king manager.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Tom Cleverley sacked by Watford. At over 50 games he lasted longer than others. Similar stats in wins losses and draws to Marti. I think he could be a decent manager. Probably not for us but he is young and sacked managers from Watford general go on to do well in their next post.

And if the club had proof that he had specifically broken terms in his contract?
Without seeing his contract it's almost impossible to suggest what he may have done. It would - if it were post 2 years - be open to agreement of misconduct, gross misconduct, etc. It's unlikely that his agents speaking with a future employer would be more than misconduct so the gardening leave - limiting his options and forcing him to resign - would likely be seen as excessive.
Since he's not over 2 years employed, it's moot though. His contract is likely to include separation clauses though - they'll be interesting to read, common in football, and something - if we're to believe the relationship has been poor for a while - will have been inserted by his team.
Looks like Wednesday may be parting company with Danny Rohl? I'd be very surprised but I know some of the fans have turned on him.
Apparently he has ambitions to fall down the division a bit a manage another lower half team... Actually, I made that bit up but surely Danny Rohl is one of the division's great success stories. They were in a worse position than us when he took control there.

Southampton should be all over him, he's a brilliant manager but is also very expensive

Sadly, the longer it goes without hearing anything, the more likely I think it is that MC is gone. Very poor the way it has turned out. We do seem to specialise in these messy break-ups.

He's gone and I don't see a quick resolution to this. QPR could pay him off but get no compensation, most vacancies coming up won't be done quickly imo. Sounds like Leicester are waiting on Liam Manning and if Bristol City go up or not, Southampton as well waiting until the premier league ends before appointing anyone
There is no rush for Marti he could just wait a few weeks/months and see what offers come in
