The QPR summer managers rumours thread on 15:56 - May 6 by daveB | He's gone and I don't see a quick resolution to this. QPR could pay him off but get no compensation, most vacancies coming up won't be done quickly imo. Sounds like Leicester are waiting on Liam Manning and if Bristol City go up or not, Southampton as well waiting until the premier league ends before appointing anyone There is no rush for Marti he could just wait a few weeks/months and see what offers come in |
The rush for Cifuentes is that there are a lot of vacancies around at present and every club will want to have their new man in place early in the summer so they get a full preseason with them.

maybe or he could wait and see what opens up when the season starts, there really is no rush for him

The Sun’s exact quote is ambiguous as to what Cifuentes wanted: just states QPR ‘chiefs’ refused to allow Nourry to appoint one. Could be Cifuentes didn’t want one whereas Nourry did but was overruled, could mean Cifuentes AND Nourry wanted one and were overruled. Current situation probably suggests the former but who knows. “QPR chiefs also vetoed a move from 27-year-old Nourry to appoint a set-piece coach earlier this season”

Watford mate said they want a yes man (just like us!) so I doubt Cifuentes is right for them.

I haven't looked at the stats but I thought our set pieces often had a bit of variety in them, in intent anyway. The issue really was with the delivery, so I'm not sure what a specialist coach is going to do about players consistently hitting the first man when they have an entire penalty box to aim at.

The QPR summer managers rumours thread on 11:23 - May 6 by Bluce_Ree | It doesn't matter. We could get Pep de Jurgen le McFerguson and we'd still be us. Perennial f**k ups. Cursed to fail by a cruel god who lets Liverpool win the league and lets Mick Hucknall live. I care as much about who our new manager is as I do about who won last year's I'm a Celebrity, F**k My Whole Career. Robert Piss. There's your new f**king manager. |

The QPR summer managers rumours thread on 19:27 - May 6 with 2979 views | Loft1979 | The quality of managers in the Championship has gone way up. The tried and tested are still there (Tony Mowbray, Scott Parker) but less frequent. To me I see the unknown as the more likely replacement than Gary (hero) O'Neill who nevertheless I would love to have.

The day he missed training was the day he went on gardening leave so imagine it was all going on behind the scenes that day which is why he didn't take training

I don't have an ST, but I'd take a few months off if we hired Rooney. Back when we replace him in October

Get all the nominees in the Crown & Sceptre until someone sets the fire alarm off.m with too much smoke. Then CharlieB/Stainers can just announce their homer via AI. Job done.
