Echoing everyone else, thanks for everything over the course of yet another awful season. For those of us from afar and those nearer, these reports and articles are a vital link to the club and the fanbase.

Superb Clive - thanks very much for everything again. I don't know how you would cope with scribing and relaying a very successful season to us all - you'd need a new lexicon.

Not a problem you will have in 25/26 imho...

Thank you.

Thanks, Clive. Great report, as always.

Do you think Colback played full back because we had no one else or done specifically following assessment of how Sunderland set up? Like we’d noticed that they don’t tend to attack down that flank so it was a chance to get an extra body in midfield?

Thanks Clive.

Try to have a good rest & let Queens Park Rangers take care of themselves, while you do the same for yourself!

And breathe...

As always, thanks Norf for this year's effort. Laughter, tears, tears of laughter and an image of the Pink Panther's tail that will haunt me.

You are a Mensch. Enjoy the Summer, mate.

I think Kevin Betsy deserves a shout out for coming up with the Colback move and for organising what was clearly a productive week in training. Knowing the players and having worked with them closely, he'd be an obvious safe pair of hands to take over permanently, which is precisely why he probably won't get offered the job.

Like a can of Winalot, that was packed with meaty goodness.

You, your fellow contributors and more than a few posters on here come up with so many good suggestions about how to move this club forward, you're almost doing the QPR board's job for them, if only they'd listen.

Sadly, they don't seem to, none of them really care enough to move us forward, and egos frequently get in the way of progress. I really don't take the £2m a month and another year of Championship survival for granted, even if it frequently feels like the board do take its fanbase for granted, but we're really only treading water, hoping that either someone with more drive will finally buy us or that the lower grade coaches and players we have to rely on due to S&P rules will one day, somehow, flukily produce a season of utter brilliance and get us up into the Premier League.

Its brutal but it would be so much worse without the insight and self-help possibilities LFW affords us. Thank you so much, Clive, contributors and posters.

Now, get some rest and - important, this - no political threads!

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Thank you Clive. Your dedication, passion and outpourings are a beacon in supporting this team and, again this season, the latest cluster f of a club.

Enjoy some time off if you can, a good holiday and get some head clearing runs in.

Thanks Clive, your writing this season has been superb across previews, match reports, opposition profiles etc and the Patreon podcasts have been excellent also.

Enjoy the off season!

Thank you for all the kind words guys it's very much appreciated.

Incredibly difficult season, particularly towards the back end, and a lot of weird sht going on which can be pretty demoralising.

Always gets to this point and I'm exhausted, it's effectively holding down two full time jobs for nine months. But I can chill for a bit now and look forward to another summer of travelling and relaxing. Got some great trips planned already.

There'll be end of term reports, four write ups and a Patreon podcast discussing the ratings as always. We'll revisit the season preview predictions once the play-off final is done. And there will be an end of season journos review on the Patreon next week with Ted and Thom as that went down very well last season. We'll cover the signings as well (it's QPR, of course there will be signings) but I am intending to wind down and switch off for a couple of months as well.

Thank you all for the support, particularly those of you who subscribe to the Patreon - that's what keeps it all going.

Have a great summer everybody.

Thanks for all the massive effort and mileage you put in over a season to make theses match reports happen.
I don’t go to that many games and I always find your reports honest and so well written. You do a brilliant job!

Thank you- Being the word of reason in what for many of us is a string of heart palpitations that ends every May. This year calm settled in an unusual 4 games early. Even if it could have been earlier.

This report was particularly fresh. I predicted us to win, but as stated, the performance was finely executed. To me, I have been supportive of Kolli for the reasons you pointed out. He has manufactured opportunities (and goals), by pressing opponents into mistakes...something unheard of it in our forwards. in this iteration you pointed to his new skill...tracking back. was this an influence from this interim leaders? And honorable mention to Nico for the goal, where previously it was 'shot blocked' .

PS: Rohrbach-Berg is nice (hint).

Cracking stuff, as always, Clive. Despite the on-going madness, I take solace from the fact that QPR will be a Championship club once more next season, something that looked very unlikely after 10 games. Enjoy your travels and try to switch off this summer.

The cracking match reports are the only consistent thing about following this club. I do hope you will be reporting on more home wins next season. Only away wins to be found in the last 13 games mirroring two seasons ago when wins at Burnley and Stoke kept us up like Oxford and Preston this time round. We can't keep having seasons where we post 16 home games not winning. Have a good break from it all.

It's amazing that you maintain such a high standard in your reports, previews and analysis throughout the season. It can't have been easy this during our 2024/25 campaign. If our players, management and Board showed anywhere near your level of dedication throughout the season we would be heading for the Premier League.

Thanks for all your hard work and enjoy your summer. See you back in the C&S in August.

Thanks so much Clive you've been brilliant in such a trying season. More than once I've come away from LR resigned to relegation. Then there are all the off field shenanigans just to make us all tear our hair out. Through all of this you've kept us laughing and provided a community for us all. Great job!

Thanks Clive for all the time and effort you put in over the years. It really is appreciated, especially as I only get to a handful of games each season. Enjoy your summer break.

I never, ever take this site for granted, it's an absolute godsend so thanks Clive, much appreciated. Just gotten around to reading this on my sunbed in Turkey, ironically on my first break since October. Enjoy the break mate.
