Well, Danny, we are what is known as a 'shit club.'
We have shit players, shit owners and we got rid of the only manager who was capable of getting us to heady heights of average.
He's gone and now we are fked.
And I don't even care. It's one thing being bad but we are fking embarrassing. The only pride I feel in being a QPR fan is that I'm a pretty rare breed and if I was a characterless c*nt I could have picked a more successful team but didn't.

Cifuentes learnt about what worked and what didn’t with this team as he went along and, as has been said by others before, I think the same thing is happening with Stephan (despite apparently watching all of last seasons games while he was waiting to take the job over) Today was a painful lesson that these players are technically not as good or as intelligent as those he may have managed in France. I think the need for a strong, capable presence in midfield is absolutely the clubs top priority. I’m not sure we’ll make much progress without this mythical, cure all player.

Field and Morgan were absolutely awful. And Dembele was giving the ball away for fun, which is fast becoming par for the course. So weak, and his first touch is erratic, or at least he does not / cannot protect the ball. Walsh cannot kick or find a pass, continuously kicking it straight to the opposition. They were my big four issues in that side today. And the fifth is the fact we are so undercooked in fitness, it is unreal. And Burrell very unconvincing for me so far. | | | |

My biggest concern is the lack of leaders. Cook is past it and shouldn't be playing. Dunne isn't a leader. He should just be left to concentrate on his own game which had many deficiencies. We still no natural right back. No senior left back.
No number 8. No one to dominate the middle of the pitch. No back up No 10.
We are a mess..sign some experience starting with Hayden. Cos what I saw today was a group of scared weak men. I stayed until the 7th goal and that was my lot. Genuinely have never seen a more gutless and pathetic display from a so called group of professional footballers. Buggers belief how they can look at each other in the eye after that sh1t show.

Most times we had the ball we gave it away.
If there was a 50/50 we lost it.
Every goal kick we created a panic at the back and hoofed it/lost it.
Our “midfield” was wide open at all times and straightforward to bypass with simple passes forward

The midfield and the right side.
The midfield were far too passive all three of them and failed to compete. God knows what is wrong with Sam Field at the moment it's like he is playing with lead weights in his boots.
The right side Dunne, Morgan and Dembele were utterly woeful and Dembele is a liability defensively. Dunne clearly unfit and Morgan just has a mare
With Burrell upfront we had no out ball, Kone made a massive difference once he came on
Added to that Coventry scored from practically every shot they had and most of them were un-saveable [Post edited 23 Aug 19:43]

The amount of time and space afforded to Rudoni, in our third, often our box, consistently - for 90 minutes - was unlike anything I have ever seen by a professional football club. It was farcical. Cov were lethal and converted the gifts we presented them with. They were set-up and primed to sweep forward at any opportunity. I've heard of defending with "two banks of 4" but they seemed to attack with "two banks of four".
They completely swamped us basically.
My view is that Fat Frank identified that we were slow and plodding at the back and our "system" would easily be disrupted by a fast aggressive approach.
Our players wilted and became unable to execute even a simple 5yd pass. The more we visibly wilted, the more they pushed on against us. It began to feel like anytime they had the ball in the final third they'd score by dint of having at least 6 players in and around the box.
It was a game that proved that stats like possession or XG are just nonsense..... they absolutely smashed us. It was like watching a fight between a wolf and a lamb.
I knew things were badly off at the club but I felt I should give it 8-10 games before passing public judgement given the amount of new staff. BUT..... I feel very confident in now saying there is something badly off at the club. I'm guessing the manager and coaches are not fit for purpose.

I did say we needed to park the bus like Hull did but we were wide open and totally disorganised against a buoyant team that scored 5 away the previous game. This was Coventry's biggest win since 1963 so once again Charity Park Rangers do the business.
Plymouth made their worst start to a season for 30 years but we did our bit to help them out throwing away the cup tie. The mental weakness of this club never seems to end as each year brings out new lows as we find more ways to embarrass our fans. |  | | |

I’ve a theory that Chair has done his ACL (as rumoured)and with it being the second one in a number of weeks the players are blaming the fitness regime so are downing tools.
I think the players also know we need experienced reinforcements.
They will win the war against Nourry and he’ll have to replace his mate and change his recruitment approach or he’ll be gone as well.

Only seen the goals so not seen the poor play in the build up but Cook gets done badly for at least two of them. He looks finished. I heard good things about Mbemgue in his first game at CB. Surely he has to start ahead of Cook now.
Dembele has always been a defensive liability. Okay if you're Adel but he's not good enough to get away with doing no defensive work. Signing Saito and the LB from Sheffield United will hopefully toughen us up a bit and hopefully they'll bring Hayden back. Maybe give Field a rest as it sounds like he's having a mare at the moment.
I've been away last two weeks. Back for the Charlton game. Will be fascinating to see what their response is. Hoping we start with Kone and get our noses in front and the crowd behind the team. Concede early and it could be another bad day. | | | |

We knew Paal was going 6 months before the season started.
It's a disgrace that we didn't get a proper replacement. Larkeche could have been a failure so, it was risk even if he was fit. Complete crackers. And we let Fox go, which means we had no back up either.
Then there was no replacement for Colback and clearly Varane is not fit yet. Field is on his own. Then the youngsters are not ready, Esq, Kolli and Walsh.
But up there with missing LB is that we need a number 9 as an outfield ball, as clearly we are not good enough to play out. Kone should have started. A false number 9 does not work for us; we sometimes need to hoof it and get someone to hold it up there. |  |
