QPR's newly acquired strike power downs Disney FC - Report on 22:43 - Sep 14 with 6120 views | Lblock | Great stuff and a good read However….. Mbengue. Mmmmmmmmmmm Currently I have him down for Samba Diakete levels of lunacy - some good, some not so good. I have him down for 3 reds across the season on my spreads; god knows how many yellows and more than his fair share of heart in mouth moments That challenge near the end that was given as a free kick on the edge was pure mental. The fella dived but the intent was there and how both ref and Lino saw that as being outside the sweet lord o my knows. Then you have his sheer love of wearing the shirt and throwing himself in front of HGV’s for the cause and you’ve got to love the fella. On Kone I make you right. 15 goals and consistent performances and a £15mill striker you have Onwards…..

Great report and agree Burrell just edged MoTM, his quick reaction, desire & bravery created that 1st goal too, looks a bit ungainly but could be a very effective player at this level.
QPR's newly acquired strike power downs Disney FC - Report on 00:55 - Sep 15 with 5656 views | CLAREMAN1995 | Excellent report Jamie well done hope that takes the sting out of your Coventry experience . Mbengue is quickly becoming the face of QPR with his incredible, reckless, amazing defensive tackles or kill shots depending on how you look at it.Just have pills on the table watching QPR with him in the line up he is must see tv. He got the camera after the game from Tyler our commentator he does a lovely match day video most games ( I saw 2 so far ) and its excellent also. All good vibes around us at the moment long may it continue | | | | Login to get fewer ads
QPR's newly acquired strike power downs Disney FC - Report on 03:09 - Sep 15 with 5527 views | SydneyRs | Quite the turnaround in sentiment since Coventry and maybe as mentioned it might turn out to be one of the most well disguised blessings ever seen. Not long ago we'd all be desperate for Chair to be fit again but I'm actually wondering how he gets in the team at the moment. Some real prospects signed. Vale probably more unsung but has been very good, Burrell's pace is incredible (did enjoy the business days line about Coady's arrival though), Kone is everything we'd want in a striker and Poku still to return. Also a proper left back makes a huge difference. Now imagine a world where JCS comes back from his Op and stays fit for an extended period. We really could be in for a season we can actually enjoy. I know I'm stretching the boundaries of reality here but why not dream?
QPR's newly acquired strike power downs Disney FC - Report on 06:19 - Sep 15 with 5315 views | Rsole | Thanks for the report, Jamie. After the last post, imagining the return of JCS, I got an ear worm…. Imagine Chair and JCS returning I wonder if you can No need for dev squad Just a team of men Imagine all the players, with full availability Yoo, hoo, oo-oo You may say I'm a dreamer Ben Williams is another one I hope some day you'll believe us And QPR will have won Written by: Julien Stephane Album: The Heston Album Released: 2025

QPR's newly acquired strike power downs Disney FC - Report on 08:26 - Sep 15 with 4811 views | gazza1 | I am not knocking any of the players for a very decent team performance but you do not win the first half very comfortably and the game overall with your two centre mid players being only average and overall the worst Rangers players on the pitch.......the same marks as Dembele (who should have scored - 100%) and Esquerdinha just doing a belated job for 18 minutes. Both CM players deserve better marks, especially Madsen who played an excellent ball for the 2nd goal and overall was pretty 'tidy' going forward and defensively.....but 'hey-ho', I 'get it' (another one!!!!).

QPR's newly acquired strike power downs Disney FC - Report on 08:49 - Sep 15 with 4715 views | cpgerber | Great report, thank you. I thought the ref had one blunder though: the Mbengue slide was nowhere near the opposition player who took a very theatrical dive inside the box. And the ref then gave a freekick outside of it. But maybe I got it wrong, though. Who cares now, anyway.

I was certainly brought up with Don Givens and was really energised by Allen, Goddard and Gallen and of course Ferdinand, Helgusson, Furlong and Austin. I am getting excited over the potential of our new strike force.
QPR's newly acquired strike power downs Disney FC - Report on 16:19 - Sep 15 with 3131 views | thehat | Thank you Jamie great report - Working away so didn't see the whole game but 2 observations from me: 1) I love having 2 strikers on the pitch. Hope we see more of it. 2) Feel so much more assured with Nardi in goal.

QPR's newly acquired strike power downs Disney FC - Report on 19:01 - Sep 15 with 2714 views | captainmycaptian | Well nice to see that clive's sub is a great fit well done. There is a lot of plaudits to go to the players and manager for that win but to me it goes to EZE. Also of course decent spending. Please all just whisper it quietly we may have finally got a center forward almost in the mold of LF ...... the test will come for him as they cotton on to him and start keeping a tight watch on thr young man.

It's all about opinions Gazza. Even a trained eye like Clive or Jamie will notice different things to us whilst missing some we have observed. You are studying Madsen, and picking out his good bits, whilst most others are not. I thought our defensive game was very fortunate not to concede more than one and could query some of those high marks, I won't, but those players have also made some great blocks so if that what swings it for Jamie then so be it.

Agreed it is all about opinions, but to give two subs who played 18 minutes of the match the same mark as two players, one played 90 and the other 84, the same mark is wrong, And is worth a mention.....but I fully understand why Madsen only got a 6 mark - hey-ho, he will be 'in' again against Stoke!!!

Following the conversation. I thought, like others we were short a midfielder. I think Wrecks got more opportunities as Varane was pretty much the only protection for Liam and Diakite. I would like to see Isaac tried beside Varane. I willl plug for Nardi here also. I thought his distribution stood out. As for Burrell, I am still trying to find a way for him to get credit for that first goal.
QPR's newly acquired strike power downs Disney FC - Report on 15:00 - Sep 17 with 656 views | QPROslo | Thanks for the report. Watching on QPR+ it isn't so easy to know what formation (s) we are set up in, especially now unfortunately without Andy Sinton being there to tell us. It looked to me like we were in something like a 4 2 2 2 most of the game with that front 4 interchanging a lot and targeting their left side 1st half especially, but can somebody that was there give their view of it?

No, its about getting it right (& being fair) and it is blatantly wrong.....and given reasons why it is wrong. Rubbish marks for Madsen & Varane, OTT marks for the subs. [Post edited 17 Sep 15:08]
