Kone's all round game 17:59 - Sep 20 with 2720 views | FDC | It's really, really good isn't it. Like, really good. He can pick out a pass, beat a player, he reads the game so well, he's got a presence and authority about him that I like, real composure and good decision making, and a ferocious shot on him. The only thing he lacks on evidence so far that I can think of is real pace. But he has Burrell along side him with that. What a partnership these two could develop. It doesn't seem quite real to me, I didn't think we were allowed nice things . Edit. Oh and he throws the odd goal-saving tackle in, where on earth did that come from Edit 2. Also his ball control and interplay in tight spaces is very impressive for a big unit. [Post edited 20 Sep 18:06]

Kone's all round game on 18:15 - Sep 20 with 2604 views | WatfordR | Once he and Burrell get used to playing together, they are going to tear this division up.
Kone's all round game on 18:28 - Sep 20 with 2503 views | Dorse | I like his casual violence towards opposition centrebacks. It's glorious.

Kone's all round game on 18:31 - Sep 20 with 2481 views | Burnleyhoop | The pass into Burrell that was ultimately saved, was absolute class. A very difficult skill to position his body and lay it off with just the right amount of pace . Sublime. He has changed the entire dynamic of this team. Class act.
Kone's all round game on 18:33 - Sep 20 with 2459 views | EN_Ranger | The nutmeg on the SA Road side of the ground towards the end was sublime. He’s brilliant.
Kone's all round game on 18:37 - Sep 20 with 2432 views | aston_hoop | I was entirely unfamiliar with his all round game and having seen it, I can't quite believe we have managed to sign this guy. Like genuinely, how the fck is he playing for us? Can't believe the rest of the league weren't all over him. Or maybe they were. Either way, he is going up levels

Kone's all round game on 18:40 - Sep 20 with 2414 views | loneranger1 | Wasn't able to make it today unfortunately, but I remember watching him closely against Charlton and being so impressed with his all-round game, pretty sure that apart from one misplaced pass, he didn't put a foot wrong that day.
Kone's all round game on 18:49 - Sep 20 with 2327 views | StreathamRanger | Truly incredible that he cost less than Charlton paid us for Kelman. Also baffled that no teams with bigger budgets outbid us.
Kone's all round game on 19:09 - Sep 20 with 2204 views | ChrisNW6 | Kone is a pleasure to watch and a nightmare to play against. He has a real calm maturity about him and I love the way he winds the oppo up with a smile on his face. I think Nourry and the recruitment team have now banked a few brownie points and we can hang up the pitchforks and put out the flaming torches for this season. [Post edited 20 Sep 19:10]

Kone's all round game on 19:49 - Sep 20 with 1992 views | priceyparkrangers | He’s outstanding, a complete forward at this level He could have had 3-4 assists if others had their shooting boots on Great display that has put some of our past strikers to shame
Kone's all round game on 20:26 - Sep 20 with 1840 views | LazyFan | Needs to win a few more 50/50 in the heading department and then hes the finished article. Also, he drops deep like Kane and helps us out in the middle. This is more than what Frey does and helps so much. Quality player and only 22.

Might be sooner... if he reaches double figures or near that.... he could be gone in January Like a lot on here.... im amazed we got him.... especially as I believe Leicester were after him.... If that is the case then hat's off to Nourry... for persuading him to come here. He is going to be top draw

No chance he’s going in January: if he’s smashed the first half of the season the club would be crazy to entertain any offers that early as his value is only going to inflate. Bear in mind Wycombe will have included a very high selling on fee in the deal when we bought him.
Kone's all round game on 22:49 - Sep 20 with 1439 views | Myke | I thought some of his link up play was excellent today and he provided excellent chances for Vale, Madison and especially Burrell - I bet he would have loved to have been on the receiving end of those chances
Kone's all round game on 23:10 - Sep 20 with 1385 views | Lblock | This is going to sound properly mental…. He’s not really impressed me - as in stand out, top striker, brilliant centre forward impressed me. However; if this man had pace in his already impressive locker, he’d be mid table premiership already. I reckon by late November I’ll be bang on board and lots will be asking “can we hold onto him in January?!?!” What I really like about him at the moment is he’s really likeable. Just look at him with the other players, he’s bang in there as the heartbeat and looks to love being in this squad. Listen to his humility in interviews and you get that hard work ethic bubbling through. When he goes for £25mill and Wycombe get their share I say brilliant and pleased for everyone Just after his winner in the playoffs
| Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal |

Kone's all round game on 23:31 - Sep 20 with 1292 views | HotCurrie | First time I've seen RK play live and even though he didn't score, he completely exceeded expectations. No, he doesn't have the pace of Burrell but he has great presence and anticipation which opens up space. His ball across to Burrell was quick-thinking, selfless and perfectly judged. They seem to have the beginnings of a great understanding. There was a moment just after the goal where Burrell called him over to help him press the Stoke defence and he pushed up, harried the defender, won the ball and crossed it to RB who almost scored a second. I watched him off the ball a lot and he was constantly calling for it, pointing to where he wanted it, talking to other players and listening too. He competed all over the pitch and it was a tireless performance for the team. Loved the way he whipped up the crowd too.
Kone's all round game on 00:32 - Sep 21 with 1152 views | numptydumpty | Yes he waved his arms a couple of times and the crowd responded immediately. Already aware of the extra qualities that an excited Rangers support can add to Rangers play in a tight game. Momentum shifter. The curling shot in the first half was hit with such ferocious pace, if that had gone in, the strike would have rivalled Vale's hit for sheer class. What a hit, how he gets such power, I have no idea.

I think you have to remember that 20 months ago he was playing for Athletic Newham in the 9th tier. Still only 22. No academy background. It isn't the end product but to already be at his current level is mental and then the potential is just scary. Kone is our lottery ticket, I don't know how we've done it for the rumoured fee [Post edited 21 Sep 0:39]

He does seem a bit slow but I can't work out whether it's his running style, very upright a la Michael Johnson, who always looked like he was going for a gentle jog until you looked at the clock and saw he'd broken the world record.

That shot would have gone in without the little touch from the defender that the officials failed to spot
Kone's all round game on 09:07 - Sep 21 with 525 views | dmm | Agree with much of the above. What's impressed me is that he's been asked to drop deeper than the traditional striker position at times. He seems comfortable doing that. And, his switching areas of play with Burrell must cause defenders a real headache. Kone and Burrell are a beautifully partnered strike force.
