It's really, really good isn't it. Like, really good. He can pick out a pass, beat a player, he reads the game so well, he's got a presence and authority about him that I like, real composure and good decision making, and a ferocious shot on him. The only thing he lacks on evidence so far that I can think of is real pace. But he has Burrell along side him with that. What a partnership these two could develop. It doesn't seem quite real to me, I didn't think we were allowed nice things .
Edit. Oh and he throws the odd goal-saving tackle in, where on earth did that come from
Edit 2. Also his ball control and interplay in tight spaces is very impressive for a big unit.

Kone is a pleasure to watch and a nightmare to play against. He has a real calm maturity about him and I love the way he winds the oppo up with a smile on his face.

No chance he’s going in January: if he’s smashed the first half of the season the club would be crazy to entertain any offers that early as his value is only going to inflate. Bear in mind Wycombe will have included a very high selling on fee in the deal when we bought him. |  | | |

He’s not really impressed me - as in stand out, top striker, brilliant centre forward impressed me.
However; if this man had pace in his already impressive locker, he’d be mid table premiership already.
I reckon by late November I’ll be bang on board and lots will be asking “can we hold onto him in January?!?!”
What I really like about him at the moment is he’s really likeable. Just look at him with the other players, he’s bang in there as the heartbeat and looks to love being in this squad. Listen to his humility in interviews and you get that hard work ethic bubbling through.
When he goes for £25mill and Wycombe get their share I say brilliant and pleased for everyone

First time I've seen RK play live and even though he didn't score, he completely exceeded expectations. No, he doesn't have the pace of Burrell but he has great presence and anticipation which opens up space. His ball across to Burrell was quick-thinking, selfless and perfectly judged. They seem to have the beginnings of a great understanding. There was a moment just after the goal where Burrell called him over to help him press the Stoke defence and he pushed up, harried the defender, won the ball and crossed it to RB who almost scored a second. I watched him off the ball a lot and he was constantly calling for it, pointing to where he wanted it, talking to other players and listening too. He competed all over the pitch and it was a tireless performance for the team. Loved the way he whipped up the crowd too. |  | | |

I think you have to remember that 20 months ago he was playing for Athletic Newham in the 9th tier. Still only 22. No academy background. It isn't the end product but to already be at his current level is mental and then the potential is just scary. Kone is our lottery ticket, I don't know how we've done it for the rumoured fee [Post edited 21 Sep 0:39]

Agree with much of the above. What's impressed me is that he's been asked to drop deeper than the traditional striker position at times. He seems comfortable doing that. And, his switching areas of play with Burrell must cause defenders a real headache. Kone and Burrell are a beautifully partnered strike force. |  | | |
