I was just wondering what people's thoughts are on him since he moved to palace. Do you think he has improved as a player and if so what areas of his game have got better since he was with us or having better players around him helped? A percentage sell on fee on the profit of a sale was mentioned when Eze was sold 5 years ago, but the percentage has always been 20% as far as I know. We hope, of course, the 20% percentage is for the whole sale price.

Not to go all boring accountant but I wouldn't expect a new PA system to hit the P&L all in one year, I'd expect it to be capitalised as Plant & Machinery and depreciated over whatever the club's accounting policy is for that, meaning only the depreciation would hit each year, not the entire outlay.

However, I'll try another way to explain my understanding. If you use any money from a transfer deal for something outside the FFP budget, then that money doesn't increase your FFP budget. Therefore for first team spending you are not improving the current levels of funding for the three year period. | | | |
