I was just wondering what people's thoughts are on him since he moved to palace. Do you think he has improved as a player and if so what areas of his game have got better since he was with us or having better players around him helped? I mean having better players around him allows for more things to actually come off for him. He might have tried something with us and the players couldn't react etc
I was watching him in a game the other night and it just seems to be his consistency. His base level now seems to be a notch or two up. He doesn't have to do something amazing to effect the game |  | | |  |

I hope the rumors of Tim Iroegbunam on loan are true. Someone fit and able to carry the ball forward is exactly what we are missing.

It's a fair question - think we need another CM definitely, and the right player could make a big difference there.

Therein lies the rub: Spend wisely.
Later today we'll get a good indication of what's potentially going to happen with Eze if he's named in the Palace squad or not.
I hope, and no doubt expect, the Rangers to have a shopping list of players weighted for eventualities: if no cash comes in; some cash comes in from moving on and/or winning the Eze lottery.
This site's exhausted itself discussing the two weak spots ( CM and LB). However, given how unreliable JCS is; how shot Cook looks; Morrison is not beyond injury issues; and the Aberdeen lad isn't ready yet, I'd be tempted to get a CH in as well.

That was not how I interpreted it. He made it clear that we were not spending the Eze money in advance of him being sold. Which is clearly the right thing to do given the uncertainty. It would also be foolish to say something along the lines of ‘once we raise £10m from Eze, we’ll spend that’ as every negotiation thereafter becomes more expensive. We need a DCM and a LB and the squad will look pretty good to me | | | |
