Its so depressing that we're searching for a new manager, and yet the best one we've had for a long time is sat at home without a job.

Crazy.

Indeed

Marti hasn't been offered a job as yet. So stick with i would have said unless he does.

This whole situation is absolutely f**k**g ridiculous.

It's an embarrassment and this club and the way its run currently is extremely easy to hate with decisions such as these. If we get in a manager who is an improvement, I will apologise for my words, but sadly I extremely doubt we will.

I assume the club are trying to find a way to get rid of Marti without having to pay him any compensation. Otherwise whoever we bring in will mean I assume we are paying for 2 coaches at the same time. I imagine QPR are trying to prove that Marti was speaking to other clubs without their permission which I imagine is in breach of his contract. Simply Nico I am sure can explain better on this than of us.

And I definitely don’t want Cleverley. All the Watford I know were so glad to get rid of him. His football at Watford was beyond dull.

Will Still is leaving Lens and returning to England to be with his partner who has health issues.

Who lives in London.

Throwup was a failure at Norwich. Nothing in his background to suggest he has the experience or ability to do anything for us; except perhaps get us relegated.
If he gets appointed :

I mean, if CN could pull this off all is forgiven, but he'll more than likely end up at a Southampton or Leicester

Can you still buy shell and tube heat exchangers anymore, it’s all plate exchangers now?!

In my opinion, we need to move away from the idea that any single manager is the silver bullet to any club’s woes.

A manager, no matter how good needs stability, decent facilities, long term plans, and a supportive administration upstairs.

The first and last ones are big ones and by fck are we lacking.

Nonsense.
I have decided who our Manager should be, and anyone else will just not do.

That’s a proper character assassination for your second post on this forum.
Thorup got his Danish club to second in the league for the first time in a decade, obviously has something about him as Norwich wouldn’t have appointed him otherwise.
Childish nickname included as well.
A bit odd to feel so strongly 🤔

😆

I mean, I’d love him here but his brand is being a renegade and outspoken. Not very compatible with QPR at the moment is it?

Failed last season with a decent budget.

Let's face it, with our 27-year-old DOF and sicknote signings taking up our budget (I can't see JC-S, Cook or Frey being fit for 50% of our matches), a failed Championship manager should be the final piece in the jigsaw for League 1.

Sorry to be so miserablist but it's been coming for a while and just seems inevitable. There are going to be some wealthy clubs in the Championship next season and I can't see us getting away with it again.

Agree about a manager not being a silver bullet, but not sure I agree about the club not being supportive.

Marti has fallen out with Nourry, but we don't know the details and probably won't until it is leaked in a year or two. I'm slowly coming around to how the club is setting itself up and I think that it is in the whole positive.

Whoever we get they have to fit into what the club wants namely a Head Coach.

Poll: How is Nourry cooking so far ? 🤣

A manager that knows the club, knows the players and won’t cost us anything in compensation……

Strong and stable my arse.

Southampton interviewing Still and Cleverley, Rohl still in the picture.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/may/18/southampton-talks-will-still-to

If there’s any doubt about Southampton appointing Rohl, Nourry should be outside his window with a boombox held over his head.
