Assuming all the noise is true, how has this happened with someone still in place?
They must have paid MC off. What a fcking expensive and avoidable mess.
Why would they pay MC off when, according to other posters on here, they don’t need to? It’s more likely that MC will depart by ‘mutual consent’ with no payoff. After all he won’t want to stay on gardening leave while his career stalls, any jobs he’s suitable for get filled by other people and he becomes yesterday’s man.

There was no story that he was interviewed for any jobs, the story was his agent spoke to them

Surely if you want to appoint a manager who is under contract elsewhere you would have to pay compensation?
If we don't receive any compensation for MC then that would surely be the responsibility of the club for putting him on gardening leave?

We’re going over old ground I think mate.
Prior to getting sent on gardening leave he was never interviewed for a job. He wasn’t even on West Brom‘s shortlist.
That‘s what stupid about it.
Also, haven‘t reliable sources said the club leaked it?
